Impressive 5 star Customer service. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable of menu, cleaned neighbouring table as soon as it was vacated.
Tasty food and authentic chilli sauces.
Randomly stopped in Werribee and thought we'd try this place. It went beyond my expectations. Wish I was closer. Happy to recommend this place.

The food here is delicious and the service is friendly. Definitely would recommend eating here if you’re looking for a relaxed but good quality dining experience in Werribee.

Really hit or miss. Quesadilla and cocktails were the only decent items. Busy establishment when we walked in, however when I stated we had a reservation it felt as if we were inconveniencing the workers.
We decided to go up to the counter to order but we’re told it was actually table service, completely unaware as we were seated for 15 minutes with no direction.
Our server repeated back our order, forgot to put our Totopos in the system, then claimed we never ordered them (though they were written on her note pad), then when they came out, when we were almost ready to leave, and they had no flavour.
Tacos tortilla tasted dry but uncooked at the same time. Burrito was missing sour cream, we asked for it and it took 15 minutes for us to receive it (we were charged for additional though it was originally listed as an ingredient item)

Wowww! This is the second time we visit this joint and again our tastebuds were jumping of happiness! The Nachos (carne and pollo) were big with full of flavour! And the house made sauces are equally full of flavour!
The stuff is friendly so in total is a place that you should not miss out!

Have ordered through uber eats and now officially dropped in for takeaway on my way home this week. This is THE place for the best Mexican on Watton St hands down. They have great food and the service is good too. We took advantage of the 10 tacos for $60 deal to feed three adults and two kids and we were not disappointed. We also got some jalapeno poppers and a mushroom quesadilla. Will have to stop by next time and eat in, in person.

Happened to be passing through the area recently and came across this place. Very glad I did. I often struggle to find decent vegan food on the road, and Village Cantina will be my go to lunch spot in Werribee from now on. Loads of options. I had the burrito which was excellent, plus they make their own hot sauces which are all delicious. I ended up buying a bottle of the chipotle to take home it was that good. Make sure you check this place out! Chef Asanka is a legend

Fantastic night out. Had the share platter for 2 and there was so much food. And the food was cooked with care and attention to detail, making sure the flavours blended well and creating delicious mouthfuls with each bite. Really friendly atmosphere, casual and relaxed dining experience. Perfect for a quick bite, takeaway or even a slow paced meal out with friends.

Got the amigo set and loved everything! The calamari in the shared platter was amazing plus the fish, gambas and pork belly tacos were so good to. Top it off with fresh and hot churros!

Every mouthful of food from Village Cantina was delicious and each dish was perfectly prepared. We enjoyed a lunch of assorted tacos (fish taco was the favourite), quesadillas (mushroom filling was very yummy) and nachos with shredded beef. Do try all three of the house-made hot sauces. We loved the mocktails too. Excellent, attentive service. We will be back.

Just amazing food! Great burritos, mushroom quesadillas and Jalapeño poppers. Definitely try their spicy and mild sauces, a take home for all the spice fans ️️️️

Besides being one of the best Mexicans in the region, the staff is very attentive and kind. I loved the place, easy to park too. My husband and I recently moved to Melbourne in Laverton, and we were looking for a good Mexican, and we found it.

While the food was top notch and the staff was lovely, the chairs were hard and uncomfortable and the wall murals would frighten young children.
The food was great value for money.

Wow this place is great. First visit last night and definitely won't be our last. Yummy see you soon
