Village Cafe & Wine Bar Flinders reviews
20This is another cafe that doesn't take into consideration of single people wanting to eat just a small bowl of fries with their lunch. It's not going to hurt by putting it on your menu as you do anyway on kids menu. Get on board with some of the other cafes who do.
I really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Took a day trip to Flinders and sat in this restaurant feeling like I was on holiday.
We were very warmly greeted by the staff and had a nice table outside.
Everything tasted home made including the Penne pasta and left here very full;
Would highly recommend this place and will be coming back. Thank you
My visit to Village Cafe & Wine Bar was truly enjoyable, with a warm ambiance, attentive staff. While the inclusion of anchovies in the Caesar salad for my wife's allergy was a disappointment, the staff's quick and accommodating response to replace the dish and not charge us exemplified their excellent customer service. Despite this minor setback, our overall experience was delightful, and we're excited to return in the future.
Would not recommend this cafe. Good very average and expensive. Glass of wine served half empty in standard flute.
Very kind and friendly staff, warm design interiors, laid back and airy outdoors, lovely long black for the coffee lovers
Great friendly service! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and coffee in the lovely outdoor area.
The place has been here for sometime and still very well kept. From our arrival, we were met with a generous welcome. This even when they were understaffed for the day forcing us to sit outside which was a bit cold but was fine. Noticed a lot of locals so this place must be a tradition. The place was very clean, service was prompt and the food was above standard. The vegan salad was a bit bland, burgers did not stand out, pumkin soup excellent and hot throughout and the fish of the day a grilled baramundy was worth coming back for. Overall it was a very nice local experience and a must when visiting the area. Thank you guys we appreciate the hospitality.
Fantastic food and coffee friendly staff, everything was first class.
The chilli eggs were the best we have ever had.
A must visit In Flinders
Went here on a Sat night for their wood fired pizza. Great pizzas - nice crispy base. Great friendly service by young locals. Lovely courtyard area. Obviously incredibly popular with the locals which is always a good sign.
Very overpriced for what it is. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, lovely little cafe
The go to place in Flinders without doubt. I’ve been going there for years interrupted by a fire which forced a shut down but now as popular as ever. Great food. Excellent value. Very good wine list and the service has always been superb.
Beautiful location, good service but the food was a medium. It would be good if the bread was more artisanal as square toastie bread is not something I would expect in the cafe these days
Every time we visit Flinders we have had something to eat at Village Cafe Flinders and enjoyed the meals very much but today 20th January was a disappointment my daughter had the mushrooms n scrabbled eggs the mushrooms were very dry n had no taste to them at all the tomato catchup was very bland and the eggs were just us bland.
Myself I had the bioche bread with mazepone which was just a lump of butter, the syrup was nice but overall was very disappointing. I don't know why this time on visiting we didn't enjoy the food but it just wasn't up to taste at all. The staff are lovely very helpful and venue is great. Just hope that things change with better tasting food if we decide to visit again
Perfect experience on a cold rainy morning. Sat by the fire and enjoyed the most perfect French toast. Great coffee. We've not always had the best service here but this morning was very good.
First time here today was lucky enough to experience the smoked salmon smashed avocado - wow it was delectable delicious and divine - will be back!
Awesome staff too!
Beautiful place for a post hike brunch. Very friendly staff. Seating outside or inside is very, very nice. Had the scrambled eggs on toast, generous amount of egg or turned out real fluffy. Would recommend.
Bathrooms are nice and clean as well.
Stopped with 6 residents from my aged care facility. Staff adjusted. To meet the needs of my older group who enjoyed the service and the huge slices of cake.
Our usual place to dine in whenever we visit Flinders. It's warm and comfy inside on winter time. Food are great as usual.
Really nice place with great food at a sensible price.
On street parking. Tad difficult for wheelchairs
Nice atmosphere good coffee no meal for me so not able to comment but mixed berry muffin was fantastic
