Viet Chopsticks reviews
66 We've been going there with the family for years and we are still not tired of going.
Reasonable priced hearty food. Absolutely recommend
I know it's a family run business.but a little bit of BASIC restaurant service doesn't cost a cent. If you're gonna be rude/aloof at least make sure the food you're presenting is amazing. (I mean it's ok.but I'm contemplating driving 40min further out to go back to Vietnamese restaurants in Preston I used to go to. The 'youngish' lady with glasses is ALWAYS looking bothered and seems like she REALLY doesn't Wana be there. (I get it, you don't cos you have uni or some shi.or maybe you think you're better than serving food). But the Absolute blatant disregard you have for paying customers is comical. Like.you literally are eating with your mouth open while taking orders.even an 8 year old can point that out as being impolite.and even a bit gross.everytime we get her as a server I'm always hesitant to ask "who hurt you"? I have no real issues with the food as it's always a hit or miss.one time ordered rice noodle soup with seafood but got egg noodles with it.meh, i just ate it anyways cos I don't want to put them out anymore as hardly no one comes in.condiments are NEVER served with Pho.and it always feels like you're asking certain servers to break a leg when you ask for them.
Literally the worst seafood laksa i have ever had
It had broccoli and zucchini in it? Where is the eggplant/tofu? And the soup flavouring was so mid.
The spring rolls were good so ill bump it up to 2 stars.
Probs wont order from here again.
Which viet restaurant takes over 2 hours to produce/ send 2 bowls of phó to Bundoora? (uber eats).
I just got into the restaurant, ready to order and was finished being served!
Then all of a sudden, witnessed a man and a woman were mistreating a worker at the counter pretty harshly! She didn’t deserve to be spoken that way even if he had a problem with the cooks customer service! The man needs to remember that its a Vietnamese restaurant and theres a language barrier so there may have been miscommunication!
Dont worry your wife doesn’t work for channel 7, certainly didn’t look like it
Ive worker with Vietnamese people before and they are lovely!
Anyways that spoilt the mood! The foods always great, affordable and always left full! Beautiful!
Sent back what I didn't order and the pig of a cook came out and wanted to fight. Very scary and the food is loaded with msg. There luck I didn't call the police
Wait forever to get any service, food was disgusting and all they wanted to do was sit and eat their own dinner! Never again
They are a bit tight like we had to pay for plastic containers but overall the food was nice
We have eaten here a few times but today they catered for a birthday party for us, and my god the food was next level. They went above and beyond for our catering needs and everyone at the party could not complement the food enough, we highly recommended this restaurant
Meat was tender but taste was abysmal. The sauce of the satay chicken was runny and not at all peanut flavoured. The beef and Chinese broccoli had a thicker sauce but the noodles were clumpy and again lackluster flavour.
Overall I would not recommend this establishment.
Ordered via uber eats.
The beef pho was very average. Lacked flavour, bare minimum noodles. My partner tried the seafood laksa and was very disappointed. The laksa soup base was very watered down, there was one prawn and one piece of fish in there. Staff were not attentive. The place has no atmosphere, just not a good vibe.
Food is really good, delish, fresh and good prices. Pho is great, and I have high standards for Vietnamese food. Definitely recommend
The guy that served us was pretty unresponsive, rude and bland. No smile at all and wasn't helpful and forgot one of my family of 5's order. The spring rolls were pretty nice but the sauce wasn't the best. The rice paper rolls had only prawns and shredded ice berg lettuce but was just overloaded with it. No spring onion, mint, nothing. That should have been a warning sign. The sauce to go with the rice paper rolls was pretty watery. The pho was alright but it was quite tasteless. Yeah to be honest I wouldn't go there again.
Food was good, portions were pretty large and the restaurant is bright and clean. Parking is easy.
If you want good Vietnamese meals.
With friendly people.
This is the place to go.
Usually great food but went on a Monday night this time the fried rice was terrible lumpy hard rice seemed like it was leftover rice was disappointed as it was my regular Asian food place
No welcoming smile as we entered the restaurant, we sat at a table for an evening meal, no smile when our order was taken, no smile when we received our order.the only person who smiled was an older gentleman when he cleared our table and when we paid. The food was lovely, tasted very nice and hot.
A good Vietnamese restaurant for getting your pho fix, in the Northern suburbs. They serve Vietnamese and Asian dishes.
The special rice is perfect. But chicken xo sauce is terrible. And it's not xo sauce. They just used sweet sour sauce.
Apart from the illegally high eftpos fees, (actually illegal, not metaphorical) the food's actually pretty good.
