Victorian Halal Meats

I’ve never been someone to talk bad towards a business however the quality of meat here is horrible. Occasionally shop from this butcher and regret it each time - take a few more steps and buy your steaks from coles.

The workers and owner of the butcher is great but quality of meat is definitely not great.

Staff is very rude, especially the fat lady with glasses.
If you not happy with your job just quit, dont behave as if you doing any favors to customers.

The ladies who were working this morning (Monday 6/2 @10am) were very lovely. Customer service was amazing and the meat is always great quality.

Rude customer service lady throwing stuff over the counter. Meat quality was poor as well. Not worth what you pay for

I buy meat here every now and then and am usually satisfied with the quality. I purchased backstraps that was labeled at $32.99 kofta labeled at $16.99. I came home and checked the receipt to find that I was ripped off with false advertising! My receipt read $34.99 a kilo and kofta $17.99 a kilo! That’s a $2 a kilo difference in back straps and $1 per kilo in kofta prices. With the cost of living rising even further, that sure is not the HALAL thing to do by customers! If I could post photos of the meat that was in the window and the receipt as evidence, I would.
It’s also very disorganised and they don’t bother using a number system. People do the right thing when they do put a number system, and they don’t use it. Young girls are being hired to work and quality drops. People trust their local shop owners and go there for a reason.

Horrible!
Today I bought minced lamb and it smelt so bad I had to throw it in the bin. We’ve noticed that the quality of this butcher has gotten worse in the past few months.
We might as well buy our meat from coles.

I have tried several butchers in Roxburgh Park since I moved here so far this is the best. Fresh and quality meat. Another plus is their delivery is well packed. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend
