I had trouble finding someone honest who could build and install a automatic gate for my driveway. Victorian Gate Automation initially priced the gate over their website and then followed up with a visit and measure. Their price was quite good so I went with them. The finished gate ended much better than I expected. I would completely recommend them and their work.

We were looking for a particular custom design for our driveway gate. Iain and Rhys were fantastic in helping with the design and what could work within the space. We had a few quotes and they were the only ones that could meet our brief and very well priced. They delivered a gate that looks fantastic and the finish is immaculate. Never use these guys. They are just here to rip your money off. Do not give you your design, after showing them the design and look, telling them specifically we need it flushed with outer wall, Ian agreed to everything as requested. We gave him 30 percent deposit, he failed to provide us with the final quote with measurements even after being constantly reminded of it. He delayed the project by 3 weeks by blaming on COVID and getting busy with huge projects (I doubt any of that happened now). Last Sunday he rocked up for installation with the measurements and design completely off from what we agreed on. The fabrication looked unprofessional with weird gaps between the slats. Do not by any chance even approach these people because they are going to give you what you asked for. I should have shopped around and gone with people having more reviews and stars. I’m going ahead with the ACCC as they are not ready to fix the job or refund my money. In the mean time Stay Away from these people.

Have just had 17m of steel picket fencing, plus double swing gates manufactured and installed by Ian, Rhys and team. The end result is truly beautiful. You can see the quality workmanship, and that time and care has been taken to make it. The automation is working brilliantly. Give them a go - you won't be dissapointed.
