An awesome space to study for assements. Lots of space, heaps of computers if you need them, mostly quiet and super helpful librarians.

My grandmother says, if I have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.
So I'll just leave this one lone star here.

This place is bad every year. The learning system with all the content has broken links, hard to find stuff, timetable classes online kept changing every time during covid in 2020 when I was studying. Assignments are vague. At least now you can enrol online rather than on campus in 2016 with those slow computers they had. Need signs inside the buildings to know where things are. The campus and online need a lot of work done.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS UNI YOU HEARD ME.
They constantly change the timetable
in the last minute with no notice whatsoever. Thanks for that I’m being kicked out of work so many times.
No support or caring about students wellbeing. HORRIFIC!
I WOULDN’T RECOMMENDED THIS UNI TO ANYONE!

I did my year 11 here. Honestly this school was okay however there were 2 incidents that happened.
1. I was put in a class where the teacher was really sleazy towards me. He would touch my shoulders and everything. To their credit he got removed.
2. I found that there was bullying from the international students. They descriminated against me for being an australian and would call me lewd names. It made me very uncomfortable.

The reason why this isn't a lower score is because David is the best biology teacher. I think he is amazing in all honesty. The admins are not the best however.

Stay away from Health and Community Services if you don't want to be traumatised. Teachers come and go. The manager seems to have a vendetta against the staff. VU well kept secret 'bullying and toxic culture'. Online systems don't work for students and no one cares.

Useless Admin staff, enrolled last year and am still not enrolled.resulting in VU not being updated putting me and others so far behind in work and assignments and with no access to computers. Blames it on free TAFE but talking to the other students its a lie they are just under staffed or lazy.

*Accounting - 6 month Cert IV / 6 month Diploma*
I really recommend studying Accounting at Victoria Polytechnic.
There's two campuses - Footscray Nicholson or Werribee.

My teachers were knowledgeable, dedicated to us, and super willing to help, I am so grateful to them.
Another feature that helped me was choosing a mixture of day and night classes.
My diploma spanned from July to November, but I also chose two units that started in September and finish by January - this was a great option that helped to spread the full-time workload.

One thing I recommend to any students is to be disciplined with your class attendance.
Your experience is so much better when you're ahead in your studies.
