Victoria Market Seafoods reviews
11 A nice place where you can do the monthly or weekly market.
It is very similar to what we have in Chile.
Lanv ga central de chile
The food here is cheaper than the one in the supermarkets and South Melbourne Market. May buy some and cook it by yourself at bnb.
Good place to go for fresh fish. Plenty of fish available at reasonable prices. Good location.
NICE PEOPLE, GOOD RANGE, FRESH PRODUCE
Victoria Market Seafoods is one of a number of seafood vendors at the market. They are all located in the same food hall.
This place has good customer service and is happy to scale and clean fish for you.
People with mobility issues at the Victoria Markey will be OK with the mostly level concrete floor but may have some issues reaching up to the serving counters at most shops if they are in a wheel chair.
Never again.
Was overcharged for a piece of Salmon. Was 315g and at $49.99 a kilo I should have been $15.75 but they charged me $20 on top of the $37 for a whole snapper, god knows if that was correct.
Hate being cheated.
Should have argued but who wants to and I thought I must have seen it wrong. Checked when I got home.
I wish I could give 0 stars!
Bought 1.2 kg Schnapper @ $19 per kg (= $22.80) and 400g of salmon @ $42 per kg (= $16.80). Overall total = $39.60. Very good fish, however, I was charged $55.64. My fault, as I should have looked at the total cost before tapping my card.
Never again will I go here. You guys have just lost a customer. I prefer to deal with honest people.
Customers, please check the weights and price before paying. These people are cheats!
Cheapest place to buy quality seafood and fish in Melbourne. Clean and well located with lots of options and sellers.
Good place for good quality fish. Also has variety of things that you can get here, like clothing
Enjoyed the experience of visiting the market one early morning. It was a well kept place. Wide variety of stuff.
Great place to go for shopping or groceries. Great varieties of fresh local produce, wide ranging products from cheese to poultry to seafood and flowers. Live performance right at the doors, ample seatings around markets, food and coffees too. The morning market is great and well priced, the summer night market is quite a rip off, a sandwich can cost $20 and a glass of lemonade cost $8.
