Its back. The floods are over and this caravan park is great.
This is a council run Caravan Park but the managers running it are super keen on looking after their customers. Donna was most friendly and helpful with a site location. They seem to be out there mowing the grass, trimming, watering the grass. If you want a grassy site you are in luck as they are all grassy. They keep the grass like carpet. Great Camp kitchen combined with the laundry. Works well. You will not be disappointed being so close to Victoria Lake.

So much better than when we were here about two years ago and the biggest difference is Tyson. He has the park looking fabulous and is without doubt the best host we have met in all our travels around Australia.

Victoria lake holiday park in Shepparton is located next to Victoria lake and the Goulburn river. It is about 2km south of the centre of town. There are a range of sites, including grassy and concrete powered options. The amenities were modern and clean. The check in was easy and the reception was welcoming. It is also close to the start of the Shepparton parkrun. There was some traffic noise overnight from the nearby roads.

Great park. Friendly and efficient staff. Wonderful location near Victoria Lake and Goulburn River for walks and bike riding. Close to spc. Beautiful setting amongst well maintained grassy or slab sites and shady trees. Facilities were great. Will be back again. Thank you for a lovely park.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Victoria Lake Caravan Park in Shepparton, and I can't say enough good things about this place!

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and accommodating staff who made the check-in process a breeze. The park itself is beautifully maintained, with lush greenery and well-kept grounds that create a serene and welcoming atmosphere.

The amenities here are top-notch. The clean and modern facilities, including spotless restrooms and showers, exceeded my expectations for a caravan park. The laundry facilities were also a convenient bonus during my stay.

But what truly sets Victoria Lake Caravan Park apart is its location. Situated right by the picturesque Victoria Lake, the views are breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. It's the perfect place to unwind and relax, whether you're taking a leisurely stroll by the lake, enjoying a picnic, or simply soaking in the natural beauty.

The park's proximity to Shepparton's attractions and amenities is another huge plus. You're just a short drive away from restaurants, shops, and local attractions, making it a convenient base for exploring the area.

I also appreciated the sense of community here. The fellow campers I met during my stay were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience.

In conclusion, I recommend Victoria Lake Caravan Park to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-maintained getaway in Shepparton. Whether you're a seasoned traveler or a first-time camper, this park will exceed your expectations. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Good holiday Park for the campers to come in their caravans. There are pet friendly cabins as well.
Got few ponds and can walk around the lake and the pond. The Art Museum is right in the corner.
No heating or cooling in the rooms, quite cold in winter nights. The cabins we stayed are old but well maintained.

Very good location! It is just next to the modern information centre & art centre, 20 mins walking distance to Coles shopping centre. The caravan park has been well maintained, pretty and clean.

Medium to large caravan park, staff are helpful and courteous, amenities are kept clean, no fences around park so it is open for walkers to use track and to cut through park at anytime, prices are reasonable, 5minutes to CBD, recommend this park.

Picturesque location - fabulous trees and birdlife - friendly locals walking their dogs, riding bikes, or walking on tracks around the lake. Every walk with my little dog people stopped for greetings.
The swimming centre is excellent and staff were attentive and welcoming.
Close to shops (and of course the beautiful art gallery).
Caravan park may be in an excellent location, and it was great being able to bring our dog, but Cabin 6 was expensive and disappointing. Note it was comfortable in it's layout (which worked well for 2 adults, a 6 year old, and a small dog) but the main bed had a very uncomfortable mattress - there was no give, it was very flat, you can feel the springs. The bunk beds were fine for our 6 year old. The screen for the door was difficult to open and later in the evening it fell off completely, just missing me and my dog as we stepped out for a walk!
The elements did not work on the stove. The manager called in to check and asked if we wanted someone to come out to fix it. Being Saturday evening there didn't seem any point to this AND it was already teatime. I took our food to the camp kitchen to cook, so we certainly didn't get the facilities that we paid for.
The bed was bad enough to cause back pain for my husband. We paid for three nights but, because of his pain, after two nights decided to leave. The response from the manager was polite but not reassuring. She commented that she thought it was a new mattress in this cabin. There was no offer of refund or any alternative. So we left.
What a shame - there is such a feeling of happiness here, the trees and river are extremely special, I'm happy hearing the train go by, it is safe and friendly - however the building facility definitely does not match the cost.

Lovely open spaces. Good for large caravans. Lawns and amenities well kept. We were going to stay one night, but stayed two nights. The only downside is that there is train line that runs beside the caravan park.

Clean facilities in a quiet park with a lake on one side and a railway line on the other only minutes from the CBD.the railway line only has around 6 to 8 trains a day so isn't that intrusive

Spent the weekend here when we went to the Supercars in Winton! The process of checking in, etc, was super easy. Staff were super friendly as well! The cabin had such a lovely view of the lake, with the ducks (which my little brother loved looking at).

Unhelpful.why have a check in option for 2am and then not let us check in at 2am? Have not gotten back to any emails about a refund.lack of communication and straight up rude over the phone.left to sleep in a public car park over night.after asking if they knew anywhere else that we could stay or if there was after hours check in instructions, we got a "sorry cant think off the top of my head". Give us our refund.stop ignoring us.even campers at the site were trying to help us but the actual employees were plain, dry rude.good luck getting a refund if you ever need one.

Made a booking for after hours and when we arrived we called a number to see how we are supposed to access the camping site as there were boom gates blocking our car from getting in. Found a number on the mailbox to call and was told they couldn’t help because they’re not at their computer (and in bed)! Ended up camping elsewhere and although it was free, wasn’t the safest place.
No one is answering our queries and calls to get a refund too!

Service was good, staff lady not so friendly tired I think, but not rude. Big area, train line next to park but no problem for me. Facilities clean and good hot water and flow. Long walkway around lake.
