15 Great food and service. Pub in the middle of renovations but that is not an issue.
Pity we won't be here to see the end result.
The pub is a good place to go for a great meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The meals came out in a timely manner for our group. The drinks were cold as well. A great experience.
Had lunch with the family (4 of us). Saw 2 meals put on the counter (under the lights) and sit there for quite some time. Was hoping that they weren't our meals. So when they did arrive, they were coldish. Apart from that, we just didn't enjoy the food. Will give it a miss next time.
Place is under renovation but don't let that fool you, the food is excellent! Im always happy when your steak is cooked as specified and the sides were quite good too. Very nice meal had by all.
Great industrial chic design hues evident in the sports bar. Quite refreshing in this day and age of fakeness and cultural appropriation.
New owner. Very warm and welcoming.
Doing major renovations.
Had a great night lots of fun
Great meal, love the black wall with the "V" in it. Love the exposed wood, will look great when totally refurbished but works well now. Well done guys.
Great little boozer very welcoming and friendly.
We were only passing through the area for a night and popped in for a quick drink. Ended up staying for a few hours and drinking and laughing with the locals. Highly recommend
Been coming here every start of the year, Great drinks selection & deals/combos/pricing but changed a lot these past years, closed kitchen at 8 without warning especially for desserts, very devastated that there’s no veggie or salad bar anymore haven’t had it for years, misleading on website, burnt Parma’s
A very good country pub with great breakfast over may racing carnival and walking distance to every where, I'll be back definitely
Stop off here to have lunch Saturday 27th Feb 2022, Staff very friendly, Had the lasagne, chips and salad The lasagne was burnt, Had 3 mouth full, How on earth the chief could send this meal out is beyond me.
Lovely country pub atmosphere.
Awesome customer service but the fish was seriously overcooked.
Maybe something to consider on their end.
This is an "intimate" little pub. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The meal good pub fare and reasonably priced. Worth a visit and meal.
Best steak I've had in a long time cooked perfect and lovely salad /veg bar, not just a heap of chips and a tiny bowl of lettuce!
Seemed OK when I first walked in for lunch, however the steak sandwich was a little overpriced (for lunch) at $20. I sat down and then to my horror I noticed packs of bugs flying around near the ceiling all throughout the bistro area. I'm not sure why they are there but there is obviously some sort of infestation. The steak sandwich was served on tough (pre-frozen?) toasted bread with pretty basic ingredients. The reality was that no matter how good the meal was it wasn't going to make up for the swarms of bugs flying around, and with every bite wondering if they were adding to the protein value of my lunch. Just one of those times where you can't wait to get out.
