Tasty restaurant that's sadly very overpriced with tiny portions.

$22 for half a carrot and some sauce + $36 for half a zucchini + $48 for a steak both of which were tasty but not special enough to justify this price point. After spending $100 per head we were starving so went elsewhere for more food.

It also took about 15min for half a dozen oysters to come out when the restaurant was half full.

An intimate, interesting and relaxed place to enjoy wonderful food and outstanding wines. Service always on point, food is seasonal and vegetable- forward. Highly recommend

I have been to Vex five times and every time it is incredible. Unlike some places that rely on a go to creative option that stays on the menu Vex seems to keep whipping up delicious food using simple ingredients but in ways I honestly do not think I could have imagined. Plus we only get vegetarian food and they always have many options or plan for a item switch out. Every time I leave there I think "that had to be the best meal I ever had".

The owners run the FOH and kitchen so for a high quality restaurant it is still quite down to earth.

Have been to Vex multiple times and each time has been absolutely amazing! Beautiful food, great wine list, relaxed ambiance and wonderful staff!

Excellent dining experience and service. It's fine dining for a very reasonable price. The venue is cosy and unassuming.

Had a great experience. The food was amazing. Most dishes are vegetarian, so delicious. I would highly recommend you eat here. Staff were fantastic and friendly, very knowledgeable. Definitely be back.
