Vespa Rossa

I had a horrible and disgusting experience in here Vespa Rossa last Sunday (14 Jan). I ordered a seafood pasta. Unfortunately, when I almost finished my meal, I found a cockroach in my pasta.
The owner said the kitchen is not dirty. But no matter how clean you keep your kitchen, the fact that my food was cooked with cockroach dosen’t be changed.
This is definitely the most disgusting experience in my life.

The place is in an incredibly quaint hallway within the CBD, the coffee was great and so was the food.

Absolutely terrible food quality. Came here for early breakfast, First of all the latte and hot chocolate were barely lukewarm and had to asked them to redo it again but the chocolate returned still not hot enough and taste weird!
For food we ordered big breakfast and pancake. I can said the food tasted disgusting and we didn’t find even finished it and I’m a person who usually didn’t like wasting food. And price for that kind of quality is waste of money! Never coming back

The food was very tasty, fresh and tasty. A vegetarian-friendly brunch spot worth stopping by to relax. Our service staff is Dario, who is very friendly and serious in his work. He recommended a coffee with cinnamon tea, which is super smooth and brought me a good morning.

Not one to really make reviews. But the experience was amazing. I had the bolognaise and it would possibly be the best bolognaise I’ve probably had and they make a really good espresso martini. Service also top notch. Thabk you Jack for your amazing service

Nice place, nice atmosphere. Service was abominable. Hot chocolates were not hot, so I asked for them to be warmed up. Heard staff say burn them in regards to request. Shame on you.

This restaurant had a really nice vibe as well as great food. We only had 4 days in Melbourne but ate here twice. Highly recommend

Great great great coffee, and great food also. Staff are very attentive and professional and there is a nice buzz to enjoy. We ha d a great Sunday brunch and will definitely be back for more.

We came here on Saturday morning. We ordered food and coffees. The coffees took 20 mins to arrive, and after 45 mins of waiting for food, we were told they’d actually lost our order. In the meantime we had to ask for water 3 times. Absolutely shocking. You’d think they’d know Saturday mornings may be busy but perhaps not.

To start, we ordered two sets of pancakes which were undercooked and inedible. We sent one back and asked for the other to be taken off the bill. The new batch of pancakes were no better than the first and still undercooked. All pancakes came with very little fruit and syrup, leaving them very dry, and we were charged for extra syrup.
When a staff member overhead us discussing our disappointment, she became very obnoxious and repeated "is everything okay? " until we repeated what was said, directly to her.
The eggs were overcooked and bland.
When it came to paying, we told paying part cash, part card was "splitting the bill" and not allow. We were also utterly shocked to find out they still tried to charge us for both sets of pancakes after agreeing to take one off.
All in all, we left very disappointed and hungry due to the poor quality of food.

The muesli and the omelette were beautiful. Jack won us over, standing at the entry, advertising the place. Gave us some free entertainment and he and Adriana delivered great service!

I’ve been here a few times now. Always friendly staff. We were going to a live show yesterday and hadn’t really allowed enough time for a relaxed coffee prior. Asked the waiter to ask barista to see if she could make it quickly. She made 2 delicious coffees very promptly and I’d like to say thank you. Cheers Janet

I was here for lunch on the 16th July and had the worst Risotto ever it stated roasted vegetables on the menu they were steamed and I am sure the rice was steamed and they just added the wine sauce to it. There was no separation to the rice, and it had no flavour, like eating steamed with vegetables thrown in. My friend had a pizza which was just ok.

There was great service and they were very helpful. They would often ask “how are you” or “is everything okay”. They would often have a conversation with you but they also let you just enjoy your food. Overall the food was fantastic and I highly recommend for you to come and get some food.

Give those well manicured cafe a skip, enjoy brunch at this rustic lively place.
Staffs are genuinely friendly, work fast and attentive. They do have a good cup of coffee too. Foods are well plate and reasonably priced.

Their customer service is out of the world. Thanks guys for making the cafe best place to start my morning with. Definitely recommended to everyone.

A bit slow when serving. The avo smash has great taste and ingredients with good quality. Kudos for the barista - great coffee
