Verandah Retreat Phillip Island

Loved our stay at Verandah Retreat. Beautiful and spacious property with lovely decor, fireplace and close to beach. Clean and well maintained, lovely garden area and verandah. Plenty of room for families or couples.

The Verandah Retreat Phillip Island is exceptional. It is a beautiful modern home with excellent furniture and fittings. Everything needed for a great stay is provided. It is a very short walk to the beach and when my sisters and I stayed we had the beach to ourselves. Phillip Island is also wonderful. I would love to return and stay again at the Verandah Retreat. What an absolutely beautiful home! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful home with us. We went for a walk up to the jetty with our dogs this morning, before grabbing a coffee and walking back - such a great location, but quiet and private.

The lower ground bedroom and ensuite were perfect for our elderly aunt, and the lounge upstairs gave our kids some space to hang out away from the 'oldies'.

This place is a nice home but definitely no luxury escape! The Lounge Suite is looking old and shabby, biscuits and balloon remains under armchairs, floors needed a mop, fridge has a bad odour, bedroom ceiling fan covered in dust.best thing about it is that its a short walk to the beach

This house is fabulous! Great location, clean, well set up, comfy beds and an awesome fireplace. We had our dog with us, very secure yard and no fuss about bringing our dog. Will definitely be back.

Verandah Retreat on Phillip Island is a wonderful home away from home. Located in Cowes and just a hop and skip away from the main street and a quick two minute stroll to the beach, it is the perfect spot for a coastal getaway with loved ones as well as your furry friends *as the property is also pet friendly).

A beautiful home to enjoy. The kids definitely loved the table tennis table in the garage and the adults were able to enjoy a well deserved rest in the outdoor entertaining area with music playing through the external speakers. We only wish that we could have stayed longer!

We had a great weekend on the Island enjoying a family wedding on Saturday and just relaxing as an extended family on Sunday.

In such a fast paced world with the accommodation industry now more focused on numbers rather than customer experience it was, to say the least, refreshing to arrive at this stunning, pristine Retreat and notice all of the small touches that made such a huge difference overall. The firewood ready to go, the house (bluetooth) sound system all hooked up meant you could run yourself a nice, deep bath and let all of your worries fade away without having to bother preparing or doing anything! If I could give the Verandah Retreat 10 stars I would. Unforgettable and truly incredible'

What a great spot! The Verandah Retreat was the perfect Holiday House. Big and plenty of space while still feeling cosy. Everything felt new, clean and well looked after. The yard and deck area were a highlight for us and especially good for the kids to safely explore and play. Beds were all comfortable lovely linen. Also super close to shops and beach A+. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back again. Thanks!

Absolutely Fantastic house for a holiday. Great location, only 5 minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes the shops. The house is amazing with lovely style and separate space for the kids to play. The kitchen and whole house were very clean and well stocked with essentials. The outdoor alfresco and landscaped yard made it even better. The owners are very easy to deal with providing answers and responses almost immediately. We had a great long weekend away here and fell into it like a home away from home. We will definitely be returning here for another holiday and would highly recommend it to families wanting that homely feeling while away.

Great holiday house we'll definitely be coming back! It was perfect for our young family. It is a close walk to the beach, playground and the shops which is great while staying during peak times, no car needed! The house itself is amazing, newly built and spacious enough for our family. Owner was a pleasure to deal with, nothing was too hard and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

We had only one complaint - we were only able to stay for three nights! Fantastic house, great location, immaculately presented. This is easily the best equipped holiday house we've stayed in. Owners were very easy to deal with - we'll be back!

We spent a week in heaven at this house over the summer holidays. It feels like a wellness retreat - new, clean and beautifully decorated. With just a short stroll to both the beach and main street we enjoyed walking in to town to grab a coffee, breakfast and the paper each morning. The deck and outdoor living area were a highlight. Our toddlers loved the grassed area and we enjoyed relaxing and reading (particularly in the hanging chair). We left Verandah feeling refreshed and relaxed - this property would not be out of place in Byron Bay or Palm Cove. The owners were also a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble to organise. We will be rebooking for this coming summer (and perhaps winter as well).
