Veraison Restaurant reviews
30A great addition to fine dining on the Peninsula. Always excellent food, reasonably priced wine and entertaining service.
Absolutely wonderful dinner, super friendly staff and stunning food overall!
Their parfait included amazing, non sticky fairy floss and is a must try.
Definitely will recommend for an awesome dinner and will be coming back!
I went with friends who highly recommended this restaurant.
The service was excellent and the chef accommodated my allergy request.
I really appreciate it when the chef takes my allergy seriously which he did.
The food was excellent we each had a different main course, myself the Roast Duck, my friend the Pork Belly and her husband had the seafood tagliatelle. Was followed by 2 Belgium Chocolate puddings and the Crème Brûlée.
All plates were completely empty.
I highly recommend going to this restaurant.
I will certainly be returning.
Very disappointing all round. Promoted as ‘fine dining’ but the food and service were both sub par. Most of the staff were friendly and attentive, however the waiter looking after our table was very rude and impatient, and we were made to feel like an inconvenience. As for the food, the portions were far too small particularly given the price, and less than average. My husband and I both couldn’t finish our meals due to poor taste, despite trying to force it down so we wouldn’t be hungry.
Food was amazing, especially the Tassie steak. The service provided by the owner was phenomenal. She was always checking in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, and provided great conversation with us throughout our night. Would absolutely recommend if your looking for a nice restaurant for a date night along the peninsula.
We had a delicious dinner last night and shared pork belly and scallops to start, then seafood pasta and duck breast as mains. The deserts were also amazing as shown. Lovely friendly service and good portion sizes. Grab some friends and book in, you’ll enjoy it!
Absolutely delicious food, every bite I had was pure heaven! Highly recommend the scallops, duck and pork belly. Wonderful, fine dining family restaurant and very friendly staff!
5/5 food was beautifully cooked to perfection but the scallops were to die for.
Not a fan of scallops, but ordered the entree as my partner loves scallops. Was so good I chose to order another scallop entree for dessert, while my partner had the rhubarb tart (which he said was spectacular as well).
5/5 service was far and beyond good, they made sure to check in during our meal to ensure that their customers are thoroughly enjoying the food and having a good experience.
Definitely a hidden gem.
Will be back to try the highly raved duck on the menu, and for more scallops.
Food, wine and service was amazing! Highly recommend, partner and I will always come here now whenever we are down in the peninsula!
C’est magnifique! Totally delicious from the warm welcome to the fabulous food, the barramundi, the scallops, the linguine, the crème brûlée - couldn’t fault anything. The bread was crusty, the chips hot and perfectly crispy. Even the fishy designs in the ladies - I loved it all! Will be back to try the other delicacies on the menu.
Amazing food and fabulous customer service. Could not recommend any more highly (and I don't normally do reviews but it was so incredibly good)
Everything taste nice but the aerated icecream is the legend
barely will find the same texture on other place
the only thing is the table too small and the seat a bit crowd
Food was great and. Service was good and friendly.some nice wines.don't think you can do better in that suburb.
In my opinion one of the top ten restaurants in Melbourne. The chef is of a seriously high caliber. As are his sons that he has trained so well. The flavours are so well chosen so well executed & the presentation is great. We had scallops with bacon and carrot purée. Exceptional steak cooked to perfection. The seafood linguini & miso based fish of the day were out of this world. The deserts were insane particularly the crème brûlée with mini donuts. We will be back. Service was also good and it was a full house.
Excellent food and service by friendly and courteous staff.
Nice and cosy place to dine.
Good selection of wine too.
One of the best if not the best meals we’ve had in Victoria. The service was impeccable and the food and drink was exceptional from start to finish. Beginning with a glass of bubbles, the seafood linguine to start, both steak options for main and the crème brûlée and pears for dessert.
We will 100% be back and we will be recommending all our friends to go visit. Jamie and Lindsey
Haven’t been in for years but it was great. I’d rate it up there amongst the restaurants on the peninsula currently
Beautifully prepared food in a relaxed seaside setting. The scallops are to die for! The desserts are lovely. Don't miss the hazelnut ice-cream and poached pears!
If you are on the Mornington Peninsula give Veraison a try! You won't be disappointed.
Food and hospitality was amazing. Highly recommend the scallops and the lamb croquettes. Can’t wait to go back!
Food and service excellent. Went with 2 friends. Their 1at time and they loved Veraison. A must visit
