Not deserving of 1 star, but only way to post review.absolutely shocking customer care. I returned an item on a credit voucher note to be informed that I do not get a refund on that - "no credit vouchers re-issued! "! I have never heard of a business doing that before. They did not have another size to swap, so what do you do keep an item that doesn't fit! I was prepared to have a credit voucher, but not even that offered. I therefore will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. I waited and waited for them to refund or re-issue a credit note - nothing, I had to keep chasing up! I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt, and hope they would eventually get back to me, but sadly they didn't come to the party. Therefore I will have to give my honest review of terrible customer service, terrible credit voucher policies. BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU BUY - for the sake of a refund of $35, was it really worth the bad review?

Placed an order 11 days ago. Website said I woukd receive my garment in 3-4 wieking days. Sent email asking where is my order which I am relying on for special occasion. No answer to date. Worried will not receive on time.

Bought a dress which was very different to pictured. No refund policy so stuck with a credit for potentially more misleading clothing. Would not purchase again from here

Came in Sunday morning looking for looking for some nice and school appropriate items as I am a teacher. The sales assistant Arzi was so helpful. I’m new to the teaching profession and Arzi was so honest and patient with me. Will definitely be coming back!
Only thing I would recommend would be if they stocked more sizes in black pants.

Ladies, for something slightly different, this is the place to go! The Gorgeous Georgia has helped me change my wardrobe and now have a few fabulous colourful pieces that I wouldn’t have typically worn or chosen myself. Huge variety of sizes and colours, from clothing to accessories.

Really poor communication! Incorrect products sent, no repsonses to emails, still waiting for a partial refund of a product returned 5 months ago. No repsonse to emails following up refund.

UPDATE: I was contacted via phone and offered a full refund, an apology with explanation and a store voucher. I am now satisified with the outcome and have updated my review to 5 stars as I trust that this was an oversight and unlikely to happen to other customers. Many thanks.

I am unimpressed with the customer service.

On 2 Feb 2022 I emailed the company to advise I had been sent the incorrect dress & ask if the correct dress could be sent in time for my event on the weekend.

9 Feb - no response so I politely follow up. They respond same day advising that I would be sent a return shipping label so that I could return the incorrect dress and then be sent the correct dress.

22 Feb nothing received, friendly follow up email sent. No response.

15 March - 41 days since I initially alerted them to the error: I send another follow up email. Unapologetic response received the following day with shipping label 'Hi Natalie, here it is'.

21 March I go to the post office only to be told the shipping label is invalid. Alert Venom Emilio, no resolution.

5 April - I request a refund. Told that I will receive a part refund and the rest store credit to be actioned same day.

27 April - no refund or store credit received.

This 5 star rating is absolutely due to Virginia, the sales assistant who helped me for close to 2 hours yesterday as I tried on about 25 different garments.
She was hands down the best sales assistant I've ever encountered & I was shocked to hear she is new to it.
I don't shop often but she made the experience as pleasant as possible - could only have been better if she'd closed the shop & supplied glasses of bubbles!
She was incredibly helpful with selecting sizing & making suggestions.
She would take my feedback on board without getting cranky with me or giving up on me.
She found a few great items I had missed - I really found a surprisingly large number of items that appealed to me.
She kept calm & friendly with everyone as the store became busier, assisting multiple people at once, including when one self-important individual barged in proclaiming to be in a hurry & double parked.
Virginia is an absolute asset to this store & everything should be done to continue to support her.

Staff were very courteous. I purchased a beautiful dress and unfortunately it was too big. I would have loved to have exchanged it for a smaller size but there was nothing smaller available. I had at this stage already posted the dress back to them so I sent another email asking for it to be returned to me and I would get it altered professionally. Fortunately the staff did return the dress.

Update:

I have changed the stars in this review to more accurately reflect the overall service I was given, including the positive service I received after they saw the below review.

Upon seeing the review they got in touch that same evening to rectify the situation immediately and I received the items I wanted before Xmas which was amazing. I was not sent a $50 voucher mentioned in their response, although I did state I wasn't asking for a voucher I just wanted the situation rectified when emailing with VE.

Overall, I appreciated them taking prompt action when they saw this review, contacting me directly and shipping my items to me right away, which softened the blow of the previous negative experience.

Original Review:

My experience with Venom Emilio has been so very poor that I feel the need to post my experience publicly in the hopes that it motivates them to respond to me in some way so that I might find out what they’ve done with my money.

* Nov 28th, 2021 placed an order for a number of items. The Bello oversized shirt was on the order listed as “preorder end Nov (estimated), parcel will despatch when it arrives” given I ordered at the end of Nov and estimated delivery was end of Nov I felt I would have no issues with the order arriving by Christmas a full month later.

* Sunday 5th December I sent a (very nice) email asking for an ETA on shipping. I received a lovely response saying thank you for order and shirt will arrive now in stock this week and my entire order will be despatched immediately upon arrival of the shirt

* December 14th (9 days later) emailed again asking for an update as i hadn’t received a shipping notice or any further information about delays. Received no response.

* Dec 17th, emailed again explaining I emailed 3 days ago and had yet to receive a response. Didn’t hear back for a few hours so decided to call as I need this order for Xmas in 7 days.

* A lovely lady in the physical shop answered the phone and took at the details down and said she would forward them to Christy upstairs who deals with online orders and i would get a call back today
…. 4: 30pm today I called back and was told Christy is at the staff Xmas Party. I was put through to Maryanne who said she would take my details and promised to have her call me today when she gets back from the party.
…. 8: 21pm tonight and no one bothered to contact me yet again.

My issue isn’t the really about delay although I had planned to wear some of the items for Xmas so it’s certainly disappointing. It’s more the lack of customer service and the fact that I’ve been completely ignored, fobbed off and lied to despite multiple courteous attempts on my part to find out what’s going on.

Venom Emilio have hundreds of dollars of my money and have promised me my order would be despatched and clearly it hasn’t been. Given they absolutely refuse to respond to me and instead have their staff fob me off with empty promises I have to assume they have stolen my money and have no intention of sending my order.

At this point I guess I’ll have to query the charge on my card as it appears to be the only way I’ll get resolution. Overall a significant disappointment given this was my first order with them. Now I’ll have to wait weeks to get my funds back to my account leaving me hundreds of dollars out of pocket during the holiday season.

If I could give zero stars I would - I recommend you stay far away from this business.

Fast and efficient service.
This was my second Phil stretch denim jacket purchase from Venom. I now have it in both colours and have recommended it to others.
Beautifully presented. Hopefully next time I have more time to shop!

First time ordering from Venom Emilio and the care in the packaging was wonderful as were my purchases. I made an error on my order and Christy could not have been any more helpful. I will definitely be ordering again
