Vegas Waverley Gardens

I had my 21st birthday party booked in here. Before the party everything was fine. I was able to communicate with them and they let me know everything that was involved in the party. However, on the day they were not very helpful. I asked for the function manager in order to ask whether their projector was audio capable. After 20 minutes of waiting I needed to leave as I had other appointments (hair, make up). The bar staff said that they were fairly sure it was audio capable. However it was not and the power point my sister worked hard on was unable to play sound.

The function manager (i think) or who ever was responsible for my party that night was rude and not very helpful. I had to chase up my receipt of $1300 for the bar which didn't give to me. After we couldn't find it I had to insist he photocopy his one. When it came to cake time we went to cut the cake.and there was no knife, plates, spoons or anything to use which delayed the party.

Function staff kept saying how happy they would be when the party was over, which is highly unprofessional.

The finger food I was told was good.which was a highlight of the venue.

In summary, It seemed like the whole night they were only interested in taking my money then helping me with the party. We were going to have my sisters 18th and family party here but after my experience we will not be back.

IF you hire this place out be aware that it is like hiring a hall and there will be little help on the night. It would have been cheaper if I hired the hall. After spending nearly $2500 I would not be going back.
