Despite all the past history review/comment, this place in my opinion has improved, came in this Sunday. Good food, price and service. Keep up the good work.

Don't be put off by the humble interiors of this place. There is plenty on the menu that is made to order and it is absolutely delicious. A great place for vegetarian and vegan food.

Amazing food, I rarely write reviews for anything but this is seriously best bang for buck on chapel st. This joint has been here since I've first moved to chapel back in 2004 and I'd say it's a hidden gem that rarely changes prices or portion sizes (if ever.)

My personal go to dish is butter tofu and rice with a side of satay naan. I am not a fan of spicy food so this is literally the least of spiciest dishes I've tried and thus it's my favorite. The place may not be all that modern or new but the food and the staff service is phenomenal.

Just ordered and everything is great. Alot of times in Melbourne take out isn't worth the money you pay. In this case the portions were great and the food is quality. Order from here!

Amazing quality, cheap vegan food! Highly recommend the samosas, curry laksa, and the satay noodles.

If you look for value this is the place.

11,90$ for a half rice 3 dishes plate, love it.
It's a simple place nothing fancy, but that is not what I'm expecting for that price.
I'm Vegan and I appreciate to have plenty of options.

I'm no vegetarian, but I eat at Veg Out Time quite frequently. It is just good healthy food, quality ingredients, and very tasty.

Stumbled into this place walking down Chapel St and so glad I did. I got the nuggets, Kung pao, Buffalo wings and chickpea curry and it was all so good. My partner and I both loved it. The guy who was working, who I'm assuming was the owner, was super friendly. Will definitely be returning here!

Take away order for a small portion at 11.99 not a bad choice for a light meal.it seeems not fresh make though coz its a bit smelly like leftover food.rice not well cooked.maybe go there once a year

Super cheap and yummy vegan and vegetarian food! Really conveniently located and the service was pretty good.we paid $11.90 for three dishes and 1/2 a plate of rice.there is also a cooked to order menu however i feel ordering from the bay-marine gives you the best value for money.recommend this to anyone in the area looking for a quick bite to eat!

One of my top spots for delivery. Veg Out Time is not only all vegan but also provides great value for money. I love the curry combo which allows you to pick up to three different curries plus rice. Their vegetarian pork buns are sweet and delicious and taste like the real deal. I also recently tried the char kway teow for the first time and it's so delicious.

Cheap and tasty vegan food. Mostly curry based dishes. Good if you need a quick bite in Chapel street.

A great place food is awesome reasonable price and relaxed atmosphere. I had laksa and Joanne had dumpling soup which is always awesome

The worst experience.the staff cannot speak English.they take your order but don't deliver it! BUYER BEWARE. PLUS THEY HAVE THE WORST HYGIENE IN THE RESTAURANT. REPORTING THEM BEFORE SOMEONE GETS SERIOUSLY ILL

My gf ordered a food to this restaurant, They are very rude people and not delivered the food.my gf went and ask the staff member to refund.he rejected to refund! She told him, she complaint about this behaviour and customer service.he really don’t care about this.

Absolute waste of money. I saw the reviews and thought I’d try it out. Rice was bland. Veggies were soggy in a watery soup despite it being “stir fry”. I seriously could have made a better tasting dish for my much cheaper. Spend your money elsewhere, so much better options locally.

Great selection of food and pretty tasty!

Only 4 stars as I came today and the vegetables in the curry’s were pretty hard compared to the beautiful melt in your mouth that I experienced earlier in the week.
