Vanta Raamudu reviews
20Worst customer service by the owner. He said that the stock was over and made me leave. Before that he argued with me saying that we need to check online before showing up and behaved as if he's the only person who has knowledge in restaurant industry. Then why didn't you say the same thing in your reply to my previous review which was 1 star aswell, moreover I wish there's negative available. I would have checked with you, if you've mentioned It in your reply. This will be the 3rd time I left the restaurant not eating again. Never returning to this place. Will make sure anyone who knows me won't visit as well.
Visited this place 2 weeks ago, probably never gonna go back.
Honestly this restaurant food used to be delicious 4 months back.
Thalis used to be perfect South Indian (Telugu) way.
Order Dal & chicken 65 Thali deal.
I’m very disappointed
They gave more rice with couple of spoons of Dal (approx 250ml container of rice just 50ml of Dal) I’ve requested staff for little extra dal they refused and suggest me to order additional Dal of 500ml which can take home. I understand if someone asked for extra chicken sure you can suggest them to order more.
The chicken 65 is undercooked, oily and very chewy.
Felt like a ripped off: $15 for Dal & Chicken 65 Thali + $10 for extra Dal curry 500ml.
Total $25 lunch per person not worth it.
I hate wasting food, but unfortunately, I was not able to finish my rice without curry, so I had to leave the restaurant with unfinished lunch.
I hope owner reads this review and try to serve right quantity of rice and curry (the way Telugu people love to eat).
Was a random visit to close by restaurant. Had weekend veg thali. Simply amazing. Will definitely go back to try goat curry next time.to the lady with wonderful service.
We really liked food. Andhra people will really like it. Apt title "Vanta Ramudu" because we ate Vegetarian Thali on Sunday and menu was perfect: Rice, Tomato Pappy (daal), Dappalam Pulusu, Beans fry, Modda Pappu with Avakayyi, Cauliflower gravy curry, Gongura Pachchadi, Ghee served, Curd and Sweet. Irani Chai is worth trying and you will love it. What more can you expect after this delicious meal. Of course some might need Paan (betel leaf) and it's available. Most important is Staff were pleasing and customer appealing. Overall perfect meal for Sunday lunch with family. Menu will change every Sunday. Thank you to Staff Pinky who was kind and helpful.
Best mutton biryani I’ve ever had in Melbourne.
Must try!
Pinky’s great customer service is next level.
I had the Vanta Ramudu weekend-Veg thali here, and no doubt it felt like a festive home made South Indian thaali. The taste was good, however the dishes were all cold.
I would recommend the team to take this feedback, and ensure that all dishes are well heated and warm when you serve the thaali.
Good food with bad service and careless staff (not something we expect from indian restaurants)
A/C in dining hall is not working as I heard from staff.
Careful! If you are visiting this winter with family n kids
Nice little place authentic Indian Andhra Street food eatery in the central murrumbeena location in Melbourne. The staff is quite lovely and prompt with their service. A must try place for the starters, but the main course like rotis and north indian curries might put you off if you go with a high expectation. Of course, Biryani options are good and nice one to try.
The staff were very prompt in taking the feedback of their service.
Highly recommend this place for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians in Melbourne, who like spicy South Indian food.
It's better to book a table in advance to avoid any disappointment.
Only good for briyani i guess. Vegetarian Currys are scam. Ordered paneer kadahi, gave me panner in one of the chicken curry with no capsicum which is essential in kadahi. No flour to make rotis. Evrything is super spicy despite ordering mild.
This used to be the restaurant to go to for an authentic Hyderabadi Biryani. Over last couple years they never disappointed.
Not anymore. The biryani has lost its taste, the chicken is not even marinaded as it should and the rice is just plain overly spiced with cinnamon. Not sure what has transpired over the last 3 months but food is not worth the money you pay for and they have definitely lost the passion and charm of Hyderabadi cuisine.
Worst staff i have ever seen as we ordered 5 same items they made only 3 and then they made me to wait almost 45 mins for the other items
*Not recommended for anything*
We have ordered on 1st sept 2022 at 9: 00pm
Love the taste of everything in this restaurant but they are always sold out on most of their dishes.
They need better food planning and pre service skills. It's very disappointing to have come so far and see that your desired food is sold out. It's a waste of time for the customer if the restaurant can't keep up with customer needs.
No proper drine in. We waited for 25 min and food is not yet served and keep on saying more 5 min and we cancelled the order and left the place. Its better you to go this restaurant to see ambiance and not to eat.
Worst staff i have ever seen as we ordered 2 same items they made only one and then they made me to wait almost 45 mins for the other item

It was our second time here, first time was bad, second time is worst. Slow service no table water served until asked, served water with out glasses and asked for glasses need to wait for another 5 minutes, food was very blend and cold. Only one dish we enjoyed was cut mirchi. Maybe owners need to rethink about doing business.
Worst customer service.
Chef has no idea about the food me and my team ordered and enquires after 40mins of wait.
Never ever suggest this.
Would’ve given half star, no option moved to one star.
Change the reception staff.

Strictly terminate️️️!
I had Andhra veg thali here, I can say this is the best i had in recent times. Very reasonable price, good quantity, delicious and fresh.
I strongly recommend if you are after a delicious andhra veg thali.
Mus try if you are around.
I have been there this afternoon and the front staff told me that all the tables are booked and come back after some time. So I went there after 20 min and again they told me the same, but I can see there is so many empty tables. Then I told the staff that there is some empty tables, but the staff replied that it’s better to order food and takeaway. Soon after I agree with the staff and ordered the food and the waiting time is 15 min, so I went back after 20 min but still it’s not ready, and I have to wait another 15 min. The front staff service is ridiculous, although the food taste is good. It would be great if they lift the front staff service standards.
Worst customer service i have ever seen anywhere in the world, And it so rude behaviour with the customers all the time
Experienced bad customer service. Ordered and paid for takeaway food but the staff made a mistake in finalising the order. When we went in to check the order after 30-40 mins staff not even having my order in their system and rudely answered everyday we are having plenty of orders so we can’t remember each and everything but the same answer could be in a nice way.
