I took my wedding dress in to be altered and it was ready quickly, exactly as promised and such an affordable price. Very friendly service and great result.

Highly recommend for everyday alterations. Took my jeans for the hem to get taken up and a top to be altered in the shoulders and they did an amazing job. Also, my alterations were ready within 24 hours.

Overpriced and did not sew in correct place even though we tacked the badge in place and took photo - refused to accept it was sewn incorrectly - charged $50 for badge! Refused to refund - had terrible attitude.

The team here did an amazing and wuich job of my suit trousers and at such a great price. Thank you.

I needed a pair of jeans altered as they were too big around my waist and Van did a fantastic job, initial tailoring was super quick and easy and turnaround time was so so quick! Cannot recommend Van enough, will definitely come back for any future alterations

Dry cleaning: Lost part of my outfit and had no apology. Disgusting customer service. I took my ZIMMERMAN jumpsuit into the store and got a quote, only to pick it up a week later at an increased price. When I took it home, the sash was missing. When I spoke to the owner, she denied that the sash was present. I tried to explain to her; I showed it to the man at the drop-off counter and especially said he needed to be careful not to tear it off.
I was told to call Zimmermann and get a replacement piece (that’s if one is available). All I wanted was an apology and acknowledgment of the error, but instead was spoken down to and made to feel it was my fault. Never go there!

Van is the most kind and accomodating tailor I’ve ever worked with. The ultimate professional and incredibly talented at what he does!

I took my wedding gown to Van on a Thursday afternoon at 3: 30pm in tears as another tailor had completely butchered my dress. My wedding was on the Saturday. Van spent the whole afternoon working on it and altered it to fit my body perfectly. He is an absolute genius and saviour. I will be forever grateful for Vans sacrifice and help in fixing my wedding gown. Van had tailored our bridal parties suits and did an incredible job. Can’t thank Van enough!

Left several school pants to be altered. A few days later while ironing my sons school uniform I checked the pants and only 2 out of the 5 were altered. I took them back on a Friday and told to collect Saturday. They were very apologetic but apparently the confusion happened because I left a pin to mark the length on the pants not altered …. I did no such thing. I went Saturday to collect them and still not ready and told to return Sunday. Ok. On Sunday I collected the pants but before I did I measured them against a pair that were altered correctly. 2 were fine but one yet again was not altered or they completely stuffed up the length. My husbands work pants one hem is longer than the other. I will not be recommending them nor will I be going back. They used do good work but not anymore and they are over priced.

Used to come here frequently but stopping now. They seem to pick and choose when they let people use eftpos - but on Friday was made to pay cash for a $65 payment. When I got back from downstairs with the cash they were putting another customers order through eftpos which was frustrating to say the lease. Also left dry cleaning for a Monday pickup but when I went to collect was told it was a mistake and would be ready Tuesday.

Staff are always very friendly and very patient when accommodating the clients needs. They apply their expertise when needed to explain how or why the alteration has to be performed in a particular way. Their promptness, usually a two or three day turn-around is fantastic.

Van's is a great place to have alterations done including updating garments. I think pricing is reasonable & I'm happy to pay as I've never been let down.
Van himself can assist styling & suggestions of changes to somewhat out of style outfits & transform them which I had done for a long dress for a wedding overseas. Thanks Van & team

Honestly do not waste your time or money! Go elsewhere for alterations. The alterations made were no where near what I had asked for, then when I went back to rectify the customer service was TERRIBLE. Unless you want to pay twice to have your item altered, and then altered again so it is what you asked for in the first place, I suggest you go elsewhere, as I have.

Don't know what has happened to this place but the workmanship and professionalism has seriously deteriorated. There is virtually no quality control. Have had to go to another tailor to get item altered properly. Will never return.

The workmanship was fine but I don't appreciate being lied to. I delivered my vest with all the buttons on it. When I came to pick up he said it came in, with a button missing and he knew this for a fact. I knew this statement to absolutely false as I knew 100% it had all buttons on it. He then proceed to go in the back and find a "spare" that just happend to be the exact button which they clearly knocked off.

I shortern my shirt in Sunshine, they took me 45$, then i went to Van's i paid only 35$. I am very pleased what they do

Called up as you do to find out about prices on dry cleaning, told me price for 3 items which I said are 1 suit jacket, 1 suit pants and 1 shirt was $18-$19 for the 3 together.and an extra 1 white shirt $5, so I get there and prices were now $33 for the 3 items and for extra white shirt was $8. So at this point I'm already feeling deceived.asked for my contact details, then he ask pay now or later, I said and pointed u have eptpos sign up saying "Not in service", he then said "yes inservice" and stamped the receipt as paid and asked me to pay now. I then said I will pay when I pick up.he then said I had to pay now.then he said "its OK not to pay" and gave me the clothes back.he then said "you don't have to get done here" I was so humiliated and confused.waste of time, bad service and deceiving. I ended up going to Blue Star Drycleaners. And there a stains removal specialist.

Very worst place I never see. I alternate my only one shirt from hand and the expenditure is 35$.
In this worth I buy new shirt.

I had been a regular customer here for years but the quality of services have declined while prices have gone up.
The most recent work I had done on 3 pairs of pants unraveled at various times and I had to have it redone elsewhere.
