Vanity Hair and Beauty Salon

Pretty unhappy with my most recent experience last week. Half a head of foils took 4+ hours and the standard is not what I'm used to from Vanity. I didn't realise how unhappy I am with it until I washed my hair this morning.

Awesome wash, blow wave and straighten from Freddy - who was lovely and friendly as well as doing an amazing job! Nice vibe in salon too

Shocking, came in for blonde hair - was promised platinum. Excited and happy, hours and hours and hours later walked out with brown and orange and $350 later hair looking worse then when I came in.
Do not understand why I was told one thing and got something pretty gross. Very upset - do not go here. My hair was blonde when I walked in and they turned it orange!

Amazing and friendly. The atmosphere is warm and the staff are so welcoming. Am so impressed with my hair, looks amazing. Would definitely go back!

Rude and unprofessional staff, money seeking orientated staff.
I do not recommend this place as the new management team are extremely rude, the old owner were lovely and welcoming but unfortunately not the case anymore.
I will be reporting this salon to consumers affair.

$50 for a senior citizens trim for short hair.was a total rip off.however staff are really kind

Thankyou Olena for doing an Amazing job on my hair and makeup last Sunday. Your patience, persistence and talent, doing everything beyond to put my short hair up with a crown. Your sweet, disposition helped me remain calm until you finished. I cannot thankyou enough I received lots of compliments on the night with how my hair and makeup looked. Also thankyou to Antonia for the glitter hairspray. You ladies are truly talented stylists and artists.

We take our two boys to have their hair cut by Sian. He’s always kind and patient and does a great job every time. Friendly staff and offer a coffee while waiting.

I change my hair a lot and drastically and would go to a salon and show them what I want and they would say ok and go ahead and charge me $500+. I walk out and realise they haven't gone all the way or done something else and so I don't go back. Well since the first time I went to Vanity a year ago, I have never been disappointed and keep coming back.
Vanity Altona Meadows actually listen to what you want and tell the truth if it will work and offer suggestions if it wont.
Sabelle is a master styler who delivers the best results with the hair you have and advises how to look after it long term.

Love this place. I moved to Altona Meadows about a year ago and needed a new hairdresser. My partner recommend Vanity Hair And Beauty Salon. Little bit of background, I use to colour my own hair. When I was seen there they immediately knew how to fix my hair and I got 5 star treatment from all the very friendly staff. I've been back 3 times since my first colour and treatment and now my hair is longer, fuller and in a much better condition.
I fully recommend this place, the staff are amazing and super friendly, always ask about my day and what I'd been up to since I was in last. Plus the remember my partner and always ask about him which is nice.
If I could post a photo of my haircut today I would. I absolutely love the cut. Got exactly what I asked for.

The ladies here are friendly, welcoming, and very down to earth. Sabelle helped me get over a Just Cuts tragedy and now I won't go anywhere else. I'm always welcomed with the offer of a cup of tea and a smile, and we chat like we've known each other for years. All the staff know their stuff and I always feel like I am in very safe hands. Highly recommended.

I came in for a quick fringe trim having not used the salon before. I thought it was fine when I left but when I got home and properly looked, it was the wonkiest fringe and so short. It looks hideous. Another hair dresser tried to fix it but didn't want to cut any more off as the length was so short anyway. The new hairdresser tried to even out the wonky bits a little and suggested pinning the fringe back until it grows out a little. This is hugely frustrating and disappointing. I now have to pin my fringe back until it grows out so it can be properly sorted.

A beautiful young lady working there was so helpful and gave me the best advice will vist more often

Overpriced rip-off 35 dollars for a eleven year old a rude manners they only had one customer there were three of them and they tol us to book later bad customer service wouldn’t go back

How do you justify charging a pensioner who is a 70 year old man using a walker $45 for a hair cut! You guys know how to rip off the older community. Never never going there again. Shame on you

Nice salon and friendly staff but very overpriced. $65 for a wash and blowdry. You would expect to pay that in the city but not in Altona Meadows. Maybe they need to look at their pricing and what other salons around the area are charging which is $45 for a wash and blowdry. It's a shame as I liked going there.

I cant believe how amazing this place is I walked out a new women the staff were just so amazing I had a hair disaster and I cant believe they fixed it I will be back 100percent thank you so much

Nice place people are friendly, Mon thru to Fri seniors discount Sat, Sun and public holidays no seniors discounts.

Brought my sister a gift voucher to get her hair done and she seemed very satisfied. Said the staff were excellent.

Horrible customer service. I made an appointment at 3.30 and they refused to take me because I came 10 minutes late. Disgusting! I was stuck in school tracffic and did my very best to come on time and the lady there flatly refused to take me in. Certainly wont be coming here again.
