Van and Ute hire

I've hired a van from Stephen for 2 house and 2 office moves, it's definitely now my go-to any time I have larger items to move. I even bought my latest car from Stephen, when I saw it in the yard as I was dropping off the van one time. For both hire and purchase their processes are easy, they're friendly and reliable, it's a great family-run business.

Only feedback I can have is, please send an email or SMS as an confirmation of booking. In my case I booked over the phone but didn't receive any confirmation. I had to search bank statements and figure out where I booked van.

These guys are amazing. We hired a 12 seater hiace and the car is nice and clean and traveled smoothly during journey. Firstly They have come and picked me up at the airport which helped immensely. Glad they warned me about height of vehicle (2.6m clearance) as that helped to book appropriate parking ahead. Also drop off was simple just had to drop off keys on my return. Overall great experience hiring from them

Communicated over email & text messages & they responded quickly. Gave positive options on picking up the commuter as well as recommendations for toll fee options.

I've hired vans and utes here a number of times over the past several years. The vehicles were always clean and in good working order, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The after-hours vehicle return option is very handy too.

I rented a Toyota van from Van and Ute hire to move some bulky stuff. Van was in a nice condition and clean. Price is reasonable, so I recommend them if you need a van in Essendon area.

Have used them numerous times very easy to deal with and cost effective. Much more relaxed (but still professional) relative to the big brand hire companies.

Great people. The van was in great condition and exactly what I needed. This company is accommodating especially in these current times. The accident excess is affordable and reasonably priced when compared to other hiring companies. Give them a call. It will be worth it.

Would NEVER recommend. Worst UNFRIENDLY experience. Van was on full and threatened to withdraw money from credit card if I did not fill it up.van was on full. Vans are extremely OLD to be paying high price. UNFRIENDLY staff. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.

Great service all round. James, working on Sunday, couldn’t have been more efficient nor helpful. Kevin was delightful on the phone. The van was sturdy and easy to drive (and air conditioned) and returning it couldn’t have been easier.
The price was cheap and the value was good but the service was exemplary. Made moving day a whole lot better. Thank you.

It's an absolute pleasure doing business with this company. Friendly staff, happy to take a last minute booking and very affordable prices. The entire process for reserving and collecting the car was also extremely efficient. The car (a Toyota Camry) was excellent, with some nice features like tinted windows and cruise control, though unfortunately there was no USB port or charger - that was the only negative with the whole experience. They were happy for us to return after hours as well. Would recommend them to anyone.
