Lovely way to spend an hour or two. Very knowledgeable owner, great wine pairing and lovely cheeses. Highly recommended if you’re not in the mood for a big stuffy meal

I can't overstate how frickin' delicious the Tarte flambée is. OMG. I have had the mushroom one twice and it pairs divinely with a German Riesling. The atmosphere here is unbelievably quaint and cosy, with wine bottles tempting the eye. Don't be afraid to take a window seat and watch the people walking by. You will be made to feel very welcome as soon as you enter. Wine selection is easy with expert advice from staff. I think every wine lover needs to come here and try unusual wines that you won't find on a standard wine list. Surprise and indulge yourself at V Wine Salon!

What makes it easy to come back is the team. The knowledge is great, but this only matters because they can translate that into a recommendation to match your palette (even if you're not great at describing it) and your budget.

We've done tasting flights on busy nights and afternoons at the bar solving a bottle, I cannot recommend V Wine, especially Valentine, enough.

Superb variety of fine wines and cheeses with outstanding service from very warm and friendly sommeliers. This place is cosy and elegant, a delightful venue to enjoy both local and exotic wines, one of my favourites in Melbourne.

Great little wine bar at the Southern Cross end of Bourke Street. Good wine selection both by the glass and bottle. Quite a large range of craft beer too. Rosè was delicious. Small menu of food items, we opted for the baked brie with truffle oil and a terrine. Both generous portions and very tasty.

Great atmosphere, shiitake mushroom pate was incredible and wine recommendations by the owner was to perfection

Let me just start by saying the welcoming simplicity of the atmosphere is truly comforting, warm and calming! You a greeted with a beautiful smile by Valentine and her welcoming personality will leave you feeling a sense of home! The food option may be limit but limitation will not disappoint with the remarkable option of cheese selection and beef will only leave you craving more, and the beautiful & graceful selection of wines and a sort. Gives you an option for any and all occasions. Definitely would recommend for any one and everyone

Had a lovely night sitting at the window watching the world go by. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about their amazing wine selection. We ordered "one cheese" from the menu and it was delicious. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.
