Unbelievable, this company are so unprofessional. Cant even bother replying to customers messages. Still waiting on a reply 4 months after first contact. I guess they’re just way more important than the rest of us. DON’T bothered wasting your time here

These guys are a waste of time. Lacked knowledge in the council processes, particularly administration of subdividing.

Said they were "friends" with the council planning department and which would help. When we got a planner appointed to our project, was informed that we'd struggle to get what we want because of this. Clearly not that well connected.

Didn't want to take ownership of their mistakes. I'd suggest there is better out there who are less arrogant

In relation to commercial property valuation, nothing short of appalling. Factual errors, zero basic understanding of property, failure to be able to understand a balance sheet and very, very basic business concepts - especially galling after spending some time explaining it to the Director involved. Then combine those attributes with simply atrocious customer care and deal breaking tardiness. We had the misfortune to be involved with David Blackwell who is seemingly incapable of intuitive thought processes - assuming, possibly erroneously, he actually wrote the report he signed, he certainly failed to even bother including specifically explained and provided information, which forces one to the conclusion he probably didn't. Even when presented with the large number of straight factual errors he blatantly lies. In the list of failings blatant lying is not surprising, but the behaviour is typical. His approach to valuing is to ask someone else what they think - after '35 years of extensive experience' he is incapable of making that decision on his own. What is worse is he is actually training junior valuers that this behaviour is acceptable. Given URBIS' place in the market, I doubt this review will achieve anything, but if no one speaks up then nothing will ever change. There is ALWAYS another option - and in my (multiple) experiences with URBIS they have convinced me a mystic in a hippie commune would have more of an idea of property and business. And for the money they charge, you could probably buy the whole commune. If anyone is reading this, I implore you to consider other options very, very carefully. If you are in any way associated with a bank and have URBIS on your panel of Valuers, or (even worse) a fund manager spending other peoples money you are likely being led up the garden path and should treat anything from them as highly suspicious, if not outright misleading and wrong.
