Urban Climb Collingwood reviews
44 Great bouldering with progressive beta’s and awesome opening hours.
The sparking water here is also way better than blackburns.
A good bouldering gym the main let down is the lack of parking it has about 5 parking spots for a climbing gym that would easily hold more than 30 people making it awfully hard to stay long enough for a n enjoyable climb
BOULDERING ONLY. I wish I was more aware of that before I went. Friendly patrons and staff.
Great to meet new people. Lovely staff and awesome atmosphere. Gets pretty busy but its fun to get amongst the vibe
Very good spot! My first ever Bouldering experience was over here and it was a good one. Drawbacks are it gets really busy and the parking is hard but otherwise I really enjoyed the various grades and variety of climbs and the good service
I had great experience here, so much fun and also challenging. Definitely should try it out. 7$ for shoes but no need to buy again for the next week (trial). Chalk is for 3$ each time.
I recently had the opportunity to visit Urban Climb Collingwood, and it turned out to be a fantastic indoor climbing venue. Situated conveniently on Down St, just a few blocks away from Smith St, the location couldn't have been more ideal. As a first-time boulderer, I felt welcomed and supported by both the friendly staff and fellow gym goers. The atmosphere was vibrant and encouraging, creating a positive environment for climbers of all skill levels. I visited on a Sunday afternoon, which happened to be slightly busy, but it was expected considering the popularity of the place. Despite the crowd, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and found the facilities to be well-maintained and equipped.
Great gym! Very kind staff and very good installations, the place also have a lot of space in the second floor to enjoy in between the climbing session. Water is always available:) was a fun experience!
Has a lot of potential but there have just been so few boulders in each set lately that its only worth going every few weeks for it to actually be worth it.
Dropped by there when I was in town a few months back - friendly staff, adorable doggos and quality routes! Although when I was there they were resetting a section so I couldn’t try every single wall in the gym. Everything else was good; clean toilets etc.only gripe is that the location is a liiiiittle bit out of the way if you don’t drive! But I would still return
Whether quiet or busy this place has great atmosphere. Also, their membership works super well (unlike normal gyms).
Good variety of rocks and challenging climbs with very noticeable changes between each level of difficulty, had a very nice work out and spent 2 hours trying to complete 1 climb, muscles in pain.
Great bouldering gym. Free WiFi, free finger tape and an extensive water station with a sparkling water tap! Amazing.
Gym is a decently sized. Lot's of grades & climbs. Gym architecture has a 'social' feel about it. Wish there was more walls like the West End branch but alas, space is finite ;)
Very nice 2-week trial period for ~$30. Excellent job guys.
A very nice gym with interesting and challenging boulder problems. It gets super-crowded at peak times and you might need to wait to get in.
Great place, helpful people! Only thing stopping it being 5 is that the climbs could do with changing more often and sometimes abit to busy! Overall very enjoyable.
Gym might be nice but they won't answer the phone after multiple attempts on different days.
Living up in Cairns has denied me this pleasure of bouldering so when I came down for the weekend this was my first stop. Such a Brooklyn vybe in this joint! All inclusive atmosphere from climbers of all levels just respecting each other's space but also readily giving out tips on routes. Great environment and top notch experience all around. Shout out to Gus for being the first and best face I saw in this place. Great hospitality)
Ok gym, staff member was quite rude on entry and route setting leaves a bit to be desired. Not going to be my first (or fifth) choice in Melbourne anytime soon.

Great bouldering gym which also runs fitness classes, yoga classes, etc. They offer you the climbing shoes rental and also sell other necessary stuff like chalk. You can get your cuppa on a Saturday morning as well after a Yin yoga class run by friendly and fantastic instructor, Jasmine.

Still an amazing place to do bouldering, calisthenics, and weights etc. In particular, yoga classes run by Leigh are top notch and highly recommended.
