Upwey High School

Never been to the school. I used to drive past it every morning while on the bus. I don't like the look of it and have developed an extreme hatred of it.

Everyday pretty much take the train from Heathmont station kids leave there trash everywhere vaping on the train reported this twice

Not too bad. Met some rough kids that dropped out. I went to Uni and Post Grad studies. Earn post 100kpa.

I would highly would highly recommend Upwey high school for any students transferring from a private school even though you might think that a public school education is lesser than private education it is in fact the opposite my daughter has now flourish at Upwey high school the students and teachers are so kind and caring for each other and have made it such a good environment for my child to grow up in highly recommend it for anyone thinking of moving they have such amazing programs such as the Volleyball program, also a very good for maths and learning and giving children the chance to learn at their level instead of being pressured into learning something that is too easy or too hard for them

I moved from a private school and Upwey HS made me feel so secure. Teachers are so kind and supportive, just as good (or even better) than private school. 0 bullying tolerance all the students are so kind:)

This school offers it all! The music department is incredible and the arts are amazing. Bullying does take place but is controlled well by the staff and is never out of hand. Many people will tell you that this school is poor but compared to the other schools i have visited and seen in this area, it is very good and you will learn. The educational value is fantastic and the school does not suck badly.

Great school. Parents encouraged to use DAYMAP and SKOOLBAG APP to stay up to date with kids education and activities.
Like all schools there will be issues with students which are a always dealt with if seen or reported.
Various subjects to choose from. VCAL VET VCE. Plus many other programs to suit each child. UHS endeavours to keep students engaged.

Bullying - school has a serious problem with managing (or rather mismanaging) really violent children
Assaults - just ignore them
Theft - never recorded
Damage to personal belongings
Damage to relationships with your children
Providing misleading information to parents
Isolates some parents

I’m a student at this school and I have amazing experience with the staff and my peers! Although there has already been two year seven lockers been pushed over by two boys messing around our school if fairly safe! The school has a bad reputation for “drugs” I’ve never seen any dodgy students in the yard!
I recommend this school to anyone!

Just keep a eye out for pushed over lockers!

From my personal experience there is low level of cooperation between parents and school. Parents are not clearly informed about lots of kids activities. Lots of the time kids are left to their devices where they struggle to deal with other violent kids.
School likes to leave parents uninformed and misguided for some reason.

This school strives to make mutual respect their top priority, but as many students at this school have found out, this school doesn't care about their students and shows no mutual respect.i am a student at this school and teaches expect us to respect them when they clearly show that they don't care about their students feelings.teachers at this school don't stop bullying and anytime i have requested help from a teacher outside of class they have said they are too busy or my problem "isn't of importance". Just being at this school disgusts me and i cant wait till i can graduate and get out of this hell hole.do not put your child in this school as putting them in a kindergarten would be better

Please never send your kids here, this is a terrible school they do not look after your childrens mental helth and they leave them depressed and suicidal and the school knowing about the problems for those kids with issues they refuse to help them in anyway. The teachers are discussing they are terrable they do not deal with bullies

I mean it was okay, i guess. I had a great relationship with some of the teachers including Mr. Denny, however the students are all bullies, i just can't understand how the teachers let the students bully me all the time it's like they just don't understand that i have feelings, it's hard for to open up to me people bro, it's like, i just want to graduate and be happy but i just won't be left alone. Thanks.
