What an amazing place. Both Matt and Amanda have introduced me to some seriously taaty wines and now my favorite beer. Thank you for making this place so special.

Great place. Really good wine selection. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the food selection is perfect.

Went to this cosy wine bar to kill time when waiting for our takeaway Thai nearby. The person who served us was lovely and knowledgeable about the wine. We were enjoying the atmosphere so much we wanted to stay and then it then turned out the Thai place could serve our order at our table instead! Such a great place also had hooks to hang your coat/scarves/bag- handy for those winter layers. We enjoyed our time immensely!

Great spot for an after work catch up with friends or a quiet night trying all new wines and beers. Love the plater they do of sliced meats, cheese and pickled stuff as well as the option to grab food from the other local shops and eat it in the bar. Awesome really.

What a fabulous surprise, I have walked passed here many times. Out the back there is a fire, stylish courtyard and wonderful wine bar.
Locals should check it out!

Our friends introduced us to this place while we were visiting Melbourne. Luckily our friend Phil has his own bench here which made getting a table easier, otherwise defs make sure you get in early. Fantastic choice of wine, with some interesting unique options. Amanda is also fabulous, despite being a Carlton supporter. Will defs visit next trip we are here.

Great selection of wine to suit all tastes and budgets. The sharing platters of cheese, pate and sausage rolls are perfect to have with your wine. Consistently good service by people who love what they do. An ideal way to spend some time.

Swanky little wine bar and bottle shop in Elsternwick.
Cool wines by the glass. Well picked.
They have house made olives, salted nuts and other nibbles.
Crisp Rosé.
Chardonnay was a highlight.
Interesting Montepulciano from Heathcote.
Easy going Pinot Noir from @stormridgewines
The strawberry sour beer was delicious, although maybe too expensive for a can of beer at a bottle shop/bar in my opinion.
Wines were appropriately priced.

Good service but, we accidentally drop a glass of wine and the waitress/bartender acted as we committed the worst crime ever! Then when we apologise she said “Not ideal” and made us feel very uncomfortable.
Mistakes can happen.

Beautiful ambience and setting. Awesome and well selected wine list. Excellent service and hospitality. Highly recommended gem of a wine bar.

Loved this place! Sat outside in the courtyard and ordered delicious Mexican food which was delivered to us. The owner is friendly and the cocktails were great.

We went for a night cap, as the bar looked very welcoming. Yet, the staff were non- engaged with us. It took a long time for the staff to come get our order. When my partner asked for ice the staff were condescending, asking if we want fries with that. The drinks also seemed watered down.

Such a lovely neighborhood wine bar. The owners are very friendly and have great taste. The beer list is very thoughtful and one of the best in Melbourne. If I could only go to one bar forever this would be it!

This wine bar is the BEST. Matthew is the definition of hospitable and so accommodating. We called with an emergency as an event venue we booked was closed when we arrived and he made room for 8 people with no problem. The venue was simple and elegant, perfect for a casual event or upscale evening. The platters are well thought out and the wine is YUM!

First time in with my book on a rainy day. Lovely atmosphere, friendly owner and staff. Wine was delish. Didn't order any of the snacks but I'll be back again and again

Hands down the best bar in Elsternwick! Amazing service, incredible knowledge, and amazing wine (at an affordable price too!) Come for the wine, stay for the chat. I recommend their $15 Bubbles & Brie Sundays! Matt & Ayakas are the definition of hospitality. Can't wait to come back soon:)

Been coming here since they opened and haven't been disappointed yet. The service is fantastic and the wines are plentiful. So many options to choose from and flexibility in buying a meal to accompany the wine from a restaurant next door
