Our support group for a rare disorder spent 4 nights here to gather our Committee from across the nation. The facilities are fantastic and everyone felt very welcome and comfortable. The conference area was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.who are also amazing! All the people running the place are friendly and respond quickly and effectively to any requests - from the gardener to the kitchen staff to those in charge.
I highly recommend this venue.

I held a school camp here recently; the staff and facilities were fantastic.
The team here was very accommodating and the food served in the dining hall was terrific. Looking forward to the next time I stay here.

Held a hybrid event at the Seminar Room for work. Fantastic venue with delicious catering at a reasonable price, and a very accommodating team helping us plan our workshop. Worked well having people in the room and online. Would thoroughly recommend.

A great time was had by all at our Strategy and Culture End of Year Party Dec 2022. The food was scrumptous! The service and hospitality was beautiful and thank you so much for setting up the venue so beautifully. Love the little tables with Christmas plants.

We had a great two-day workshop for 11 people in the Heritage Room. The catering was excellent - quality, quantity and range - and the room was light-filled and comfortable. Holly from UC was great to work with. Thank you.

Everything was so beautiful until when I pull down my blinds and saw dead insects crush by the roller on the blinds. I recommend you ask cleaners to check the blinds too. Overall, it's all nice.

Venue was perfect, food delicious, staff exceptional. We recently held our Senior Leaders Planning day at University College and I will definitely be booking this venue again. Can't fault. Highly recommend.

I stayed in this college for a few years during my university studies and it has improved significantly over the years. The college itself is a mixture of traditional (from the older wings) and more modern architecture (from the newer wings). It has an ideal location, situated slightly further away from the university's sports field than most other residences but not too far from the university itself to make walking to lectures inconvenient. Has a good studying environment and facilities that further improved over successive renovations. Also has very friendly and helpful staff.

Formerly I was a member of the College's residential academic staff. During that time I became aware of the College's paramount aim of concern for the welfare of individual students while encouraging all students to achieve their very best. A friendly collegial atmosphere prevailed and humanitarian qualities of respect and courtesy were promoted. Now, as a visiting former Governor, I am happy to say that University College remains true to these imperatives and values.

I lived at UC for 3 years from 2007-2009. It was home, where I met all of my closest friends and a place that I will always see as the start of my adult journey. The college atmosphere was of support, celebration and a shared experience. The best part was UC's medium size, high number of country kids and a selection profile based on mixed talent, backgrounds, cultures and aspirations.

I have such great memories of my time at University College and the new renovations look spectacular. UC was great in easing the transition from regional Victoria to starting my degree at Melbourne University.

My fresher year at UC was blessed with a cozy community, with supportive tutors, warm college staff and most fortunately new friends right from O Week. I also felt grateful to listen to a retired alumnus at Scholars’ Dinner about overseas studies.

I lived in UC over 40 years ago and the memories are still as fresh as ever. It was the most enjoyable 2 years of my life in terms of making new friends and enjoying what life and uni has to offer

I had a great time living at UC during my study abroad at Melbourne Uni. Made a range of good friends that I still keep in touch with to this day! I really enjoyed going back to visit when I was in Melbourne last and seeing the impressive building expansion and updates.

I was at University College in 1978 and 1979. It was the best 2 years of my life and I look fondly back after all these years
I am a Chartered Accountant and still practicing in Albury NSW
If I had my time again I would have stayed for 3 years. I certainly would recommend the College to everyone

Brilliant residential community for students undertaking university studies in Melbourne. First class facilities for conferences, meetings and events.

Possibly the most important time in my life was the three years i spent at UC. Having come from a Boarding School that is in the news for abuse, bullying and perpetual racism to a college where people were open and friendly, devoid of rich airs or entitlement, salted by country heart and soul, UC gave me a space to grow into myself. Friendships, academics, sport, great location and partying created an atmosphere of tight bonding. I worked my butt off with an Engineering Degree, but had the time of my life at the simultaneously.

I visited recently and the place is upgraded significantly increasing comfort and academic resource for the students with the extension.

I stayed at UC when I was completing a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Melbourne. It provided a great support system that allowed me to get the most out of my studies. It was a very memorable experience and still remain in contact through their alumni program.

Wonderful way to meet like minded people experiencing semi-independent living for the first time.
Great fun and memories.
More important than ever with online lectures alienating people from some classes on a social level. All there ready made which is an important part of university life

I stayed in University College in 1981-83 when the college had about 130 residents. It was a great place to meet other students and form life long friendships.
University College is much bigger now with ensuites in the new rooms and an upgraded library but is still only a ten minute walk to the main campus of Melbourne University.
