Excellent super fund. Any question is answered quickly. Fees are low and investment performance is among the best. Only negative is slowness to post monthly investment performance figures. Website does not provide a record of monthly investment performance. As soon as new monthly figures are posted old figures disappear into the ether. This makes monthly performance very difficult to analyse. Superannuation is a very long term investment but no investment figures are available on the website beyond 10 years. A member would want to know how well the fund performed during the GFC for example. The fund has been operating for 22 years. Why not show investment performance for every one of those years for all investment options. CBus does this.

Best Super funds and I am really happy that I have made the right choice to keep UniSuper after leaving University job.

UniSuper never disappoints. The knowledge and expertise of their advisors is second to none.

Expensive review of portfolio $2500 ; weak returns compared to some other funds. Disappointing review follow-up. Three stars for previous 16 years and advice.

As a long term investment (which is what super is!) UniSuper is by far the best of the three funds I have been in and ahead of the industry fund my wife is in. Webinars are timely and appropriate and they have been proactive in describing fund risk profiles (without providing specific advice) as I approach retirement. Performance over the last couple of years has been a little below par but look at the last 10 years!

Simply the best Super and financial advice I’ve ever had. I can’t rate them highly enough. A top performer annually so you know you hard earned cash is in safe hands.

Very user friendly website, easy to navigate. Their long-term results are quite impressive. They have quite a number of options to choose where to invest your hard earned.

Good performance and excellent advice service. Each $ I have spent on getting their advice has been returned in benefits many times over

My superannuation has performed well with lower fees than most providers. Plus access to individualised super-related financial advice within is well worth its cost.

I am very happy with the level of service I receive from UniSuper. The UniSuper Team has been very proactive and efficient to help getting the paper works done and since then keeping me well informed about the shared market.

My husband and I will both retire in the next ten years and were essentially flying blind. After meeting with a UniSuper financial advisor we have maximised our taxation benefits, planned realistic retirement goals and our standard of living and ensured that every financial aspect is ticked off. We look forward to a review next year but otherwise have taken a huge weight off both our shoulders. So worthwhile for peace for mind.

Almost two years since I requested my UNI super account be consolidated to another superfund, and they still haven't transferred the money.

Unisuper is a prominent Rio Tinto shareholder. If Rio Tinto's recent destruction of ancient Aboriginal rock shelters in the Pilbara wasn't enough for Unisuper to question the ethics of its investments, I don't know what will be. While I appreciate that Unisuper is "seeking answers" from Rio Tinto, this is not enough, and will offer little consolation to the Puutu Kunti Kurrama and Pinikura People. As a member I do not want any of my money being invested in such a fundamentally morally bankrupt company like Rio Tinto. Wouldn't it be great if Unisuper instead invested our money is organisations that seek to preserve 46,000 year-old culturally significant sites? I will be rolling over all of my super into a fund that does.

Unisuper only updates "switch" options after a few days which means, if you change your options on Monday, and the market is high, it won't come into effect until at least Wednesday when you might have lost more and more money. Mercer, for instance, update daily and the switch you ask for is the amount you know you have that day. So if I switch my shares to all cash on Monday when my balance shows 100,000, I will get that amount. If I switch with Unisiper, the market might plummet from the time I request it to when it is enacted later in the week. It's like gambling going with unisuper. You just DONT have control of your money enough to be flexible and be able to change as the market changes. In these volatile times this is ESSENTIAL for members to have control over their money.
