I'm very grateful for Adi's patient assistance. As an international student, my spoken language is not very fluent. His patience and professionalism have been a great help to me.

Echoing everything else that was said in all the other negative reviews. Unhygienic living conditions, condescending staff, dysfunctional living system;tiny fridge storage space, tiny locker, only 1 kitchen on the ground floor for the entire building, mice, cockroaches, toilets often look like a biohazardous zone.

As in some residents live like animals and completely trash the toilet, poop on the toilet seat or on the toilet floor, blood stains in random places, excess body or head hair all over the place. And all these things are happening on a constant basis.

Even the toilets themselves are so tiny and cramped that if you take one wrong step or slip in there you're likely to seriously injure yourself.

If you just read all the negative reviews you can see all these problems have been occurring for a long time, and despite management responding to a lot of the negative reviews, you may notice that the exact same complaints and negative reviews keep coming in. Showing that even though they are aware of the issues they don't care and won't do anything to address said issues.

So don't waste your time with this company. They charge you a premium fee to stay there but subject you to living in ghetto-like living conditions.

Cramped up freezers, limited space to store food in fridge. Common bathrooms are never clean. Common kitchen area has rats and insects. Couldn’t upload the videos here so uploaded the pictures.
Stuff gets stolen, like my chopper and olive oil got stolen. And when I asked to check the cameras, the management asked me to give them the time at which it got stolen, which isn’t possible cause how would I know about the time.
Once I forgot my bag in the common area, instead of putting it in lost and found, cleaners threw it in the garbage area. Lifts get forever to get repaired.
They don’t even have any antiseptic solutions for wounds in their first aid kit.
In the games room also we never have table tennis balls and the cues aren’t allowed to be borrowed after certain time! What’s the use of the games room then, if we can’t use it.

Worst student accommodation. I was forced to move between a replacement room and my own room due to the water leakage but I’m not responsible to all this.

350 a week rent for an ensuite room is alright, though there are definitely cheaper options. The location is prime, inbetween the CBD and university. The communal kitchen does the job but is typically pretty dirty. The amount of fridge and freezer space is laughable, furthermore each floor shares one minifridge what a joke. The staff can be quite rude or dismissive depending on the mood you catch them in, for a building with 1000+ occupants they don't have enough RA's on duty to attend to your requests. The study facilties are a joke, the gym is pitiful and the social areas are alright. The overall community here are predominatly chinese and Indian (whom tend to only stick to their own ethnic groups), social events are a hit or miss as no one attends them. In summary, not the worst student accommodation but certainly not the best. Little Hall (right across the street) and scape on Swanston are far better for a premium.

I've been in the building and I've had no issues whatsoever. Kitchen's all communal but the staff are lovely. The amount of work they do is commendable. Perfect for students.

I've been in the building and I've had no issues whatsoever. Kitchen's all communal but the staff are lovely and the events are good for people new to Melbourne. It's also 10mins out from both the CBD and Melbourne Uni, which is a huge bonus

Great place with very good facilities!
The staff is incredibly friendly and super helpful!
Completed my entire degree in this building and was able to achieve great results due to the amazing environment that has been created there.

This place has the potential to be so nice but the poor hygiene here just cheapens the experience! These people are so lazy, you will hardly see a dustbin anywhere in common spaces, even at the reception! Because of that, people leave their rubbish around a lot. But if the spaces were regularly cleaned it wouldn’t have been an issue but they are not! I see the same trash in the morning in bathrooms and common spaces from the past night. Very infuriating. The toilet paper dispenser is so inconvenient to use, people keep the rolls randomly on the surfaces of the washrooms and sometimes even on the floor which is extremely unhygienic! And the kitchen is absolutely disgusting! There is no system whatsoever! It’s unilodges responsibility to make sure that I get clean spaces! And they are doing nothing about it.
This is a critique for the interior of the rooms. I feel like im stuck in a dark grey box. It’s aesthetically pleasing but at the same time its very depressing and the lighting I feel is not enough too. I think you people shouldve taken how the colours of the walls will affect a person staying in there for so long into consideration. I can’t believe this is the standard room design for every unilodge room! Insensitive in my opinion! It’s having a negative effect on me!

Stuffy small rooms, windows are dangerous, as you can easily roll and fall off the building when sleeping. Doors shut very quickly which injured my fingers on numerous occasions. The fan is cheap and horrible. The pantry space at each level is miserable.

Also owner doesn't even make exceptions for covid-19 and clawed back all of the bond money.

Overall I feel it's overpriced and you can get a better deal elsewhere. The only saving grace is that it's a new building.

I wish to stay longer and enjoy the facilities. Very close to Melbourne Law school and Queen Victoria Market. Overall, 5 stars for the house, residential programs, and free foods and 10+ stars for Megan the Staff. Unfortunately, the office is strictly open for 2 hours only during the restriction from the government. And if you have packages (which I actually need to protect my self from the Covid19 virus) still, they will not allow you to take that and wait until tomorrow. Same thing also happened, I need my laptop to study before the exam and the laptop arrived on Friday, I really need it but they will not allow you to take that and wait until Monday. First they don't care about the student need, second they almost kill us in education matter. I always give positive comments, recommend people to stay in UniLodge (I successfully give 3 people to them) but these two experience had turned me to become the one who is strongly disappointed.

I have a very pleasant stay here at UniLodge Lincoln House. It's 1 min away from University of Melbourne. The apartment building itself is very new and beautiful. I think the common areas are very large and comfortable to hang out in. A lot of facilities are free to use for residents: gym, movie room, terrace BBQ stove, study rooms, etc. They make the study and living life easier. I like my room. It's comfortable, and designed in a way that easy to maintain the cleanness. Staff are very friendly and willing to help. I would recommend this student accommodation to anyone.

UniLodge Lincoln House is great with many wonderful facilities such as the gym, studies and shared spaces. I love its location as it is very close to the University of Melbourne as well as the CBD.

This is a terrible place to stay at. Future and current student be warned. The staff are unhelpful. Want post or some help at the front desk? Be prepared to wait 40minutes. The owner is a greedy pig who is not flexible at all during times of crisis. The fridge space is a joke. The room is smaller than Anne Frank’s cupboard and with an exorbitant price of 340/week attached to it, you could find much much MUCH nicer places. I do not recommend staying here ever!

Had a wonderful experience at Unilodge Lincoln House. Extremely new, tidy and well-maintained. Cleaners present daily to keep the student accomodation clean. Many communal areas which have been beautifully designed. Unfortunately, i had to leave due to COVID-19, however the lease termination process was smooth. The management and other staff was extremely understanding and tried to help the best they can. Totally worth the price, and i highly recommend!

As a resident, I felt very welcome and comfortable when I moved into Lincoln House. This accommodation provides excellent facilities as a big kitchen and gym with modern equipment, study rooms and many spacey and cozy common areas, which are regularly cleaned. In addition to common spaces, the regular events organized by staff members made it very easy to meet other residents and make friends quickly.
In general the vibes are very relaxed and friendly and whenever I had an issue or question, both the staff members as well as the resident advisors were pretty helpful and patient.
I’d definitely recommend this place, especially if you are new to Melbourne and want to meet a bunch of nice people in a short amount of time!
