It was an amazing experience, I have driven past soo many times and finally came in for a meal. The service and the food was sensational, especially the marinara.

After being told we had to wait an hour for our food we said ok (understandable, it is a public holiday), so we ordered a dozen oysters as entree.

Waitress came back…. Sorry, no oysters…

45 minutes in and waiting on our spaghetti marinara the waitress comes back to our table and says, sorry, we’re out of prawns. Not good enough.

We decided to cancel our order and change it for the risotto with osso buco. SURPRISE, SURPRISE, no osso buco. At that stage we decided to pack it in.

At the counter when we were paying for our drinks and the kids meals, the owner did us the grand favour of “removing the surcharge”. Oh wow, gee thanks.

No apology from the owner and most of the staff were rude. Absolutely disgraceful. NEVER AGAIN.

Went there tonight for dinner. We both ordered the marinara, which is on the menu as having king prawns and prawn cutlets amongst swimmer crab, clams and mussels. When the meals arrived there was not a prawn in sight. While the meal itself was delicious at $51.00 I thought it was overpriced without the prawns and further felt they should have told us when we ordered that there were no prawns. Given that it is listed as an ingredient on the menu, it is a major oversight. The highlight were the waitresses. Lovely friendly girls.
I have just read the response from this restaurant. Their assertion that there were prawns of any description in the marinara we had last night is completely false. Will never go there again. Disgusting response. Please see their menu item taken from their website just now listing King Prawn and Prawn Cutlets neither of which were in our meals last night. I would have had more respect for them if they had apologised or acknowledged their omission.

This is very much based on customer service coz food is amazing. We got there 5.30 ordered by 5.45 and waited to 6.30 to get our antipasto n then another 15 for our dinner. What pushed me was that no1 was inside when we arrived but as soon as they came they all got there meals way ahead of us n here we were still waiting. Tables that came after us got up and left coz they had no services n this is within the hour of us being there. I recommend a friend here n she warned me of there experience with a 5month old on a outside table. Come on common sense needs to prevail I didn't want to believe it till I saw it for my self. So it's not the first time. Your food is amazing but customers service is beyond unacceptable esp after spending close to 300bux

One of the best authentic Italian restaurants in the peninsula, owner was fabulous, easy to find, food was absolutely delicious and highly recommend.

Sat right near the kitchen last night and watched the Chef cook - wow what an experience. That Chef is a machine. We ate the Bruschetta, the John Dory and the Eye Fillet - what an experience! Staff were absolutely amazing on such a busy night. Cannot wait to come back and eat here!

It is with a heavy heart that I write this review of Unica Cucina Italian restaurant. I had been looking forward to dining at this establishment for some time, as I had heard great things about the food and atmosphere. Unfortunately, my experience was far from positive.
First and foremost, the quality of the food was extremely poor. The flavors were bland and there was a distinct lack of taste in every dish our group tried. The steak, in particular, was rubbery which was a major disappointment.
In addition to the poor quality of the food, the service was equally disappointing. Our booking was forgotten, and the waitresses were unaccommodating. When I tried to provide feedback on the subpar meal, they did not take it well and seemed unwilling to listen.
Furthermore, the menu prices were inflated and did not match the quality of the food being served. It was clear that this restaurant was more concerned with making a profit than providing a satisfactory dining experience.
To top it all off, the owner of the restaurant was unprofessional and told me she has been in business for 7 years and that they did not need my business. It is clear that they are unfit to be in the hospitality industry.
Overall, my experience at Unica Cucina Italian restaurant was thoroughly unpleasant. The poor quality of the food and bad service, combined with the rude staff and overpriced menu, made for a truly disastrous dining experience. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and would advise caution to anyone considering dining here.

Submitted reservation request on their website. Did not receive a confirmation, rang 10 times with no answer and ended up going there to be told they were fully booked. As I was waiting for the response, I didn't book anywhere else and missed out on other places. Well done on your stupid process, if you are full then decline the request so we can make alternative arrangements.

My husband's birthday ended up being absolutely amazing. The young lady who explained all of the dishes was amazing, she knew every detail! My husband was craving spaghetti calamari (the way his mum used to make it) so she went to the kitchen to ask if it could be made. The owner came out to our table and confirmed the way he would like it - and boy did it end up being amazing! Never had that type of service before. They ended up surprising us with a Cannoli and a sparkler and the whole restaurant sang happy birthday. A truly memorable experience and a special one for us. Being Italian, i have to say - it was the best we have had since my mother in law's Sunday lunches! If you're Italian or you love authentic true Italian - this is where its at.

A real racist restaurant. Disgusting service. Do not go in there if you want to have a good day. No tissue was given, got told off for trying to order at the counter.

We spent the weekend here had dinner the first night was a fantastic evening staff were attentive, owner very welcoming, made new friends (table next to us) we went back night two and welcomed back like old friends - cannot say anything negative about the food being Sicilian (imported) it was pretty good - nightly recommend

Really nice Italian (Calabrese) restaurant. Food and atmosphere was nice with an accordion player playing lots of Italian tunes and requests. Would recommend it. Only complaint would be that the bench seats should be replaced with chairs.

We had a delicious and authentic dinner here, exceeded our expectation and will definitely be back.

I had been wanting to visit since we moved here and we were not disappointed with the food or the service, it was all fantastic. I can only imagine how lovely it would be in summer to sit out the front and enjoy your delicious food

Lovely meals, atmosphere and server just a bit overpriced imo. I think it would benefit the non Italian patrons also if you translated your menu (i had to look up what some menu items were). We are locals too. First time visit.

I would always prefer quality over quantity. As an Italian myself I would never normally complain about the size of a meal but the sizes were were served were actually ridiculous and we couldn't finish it. We ordered bruschetta from the main waitress who couldn't be bothered with us after that and solely spoke to a couple who were there (hopefully they weren't trying to enjoy a romantic dinner). The bruschetta was lovely - but huge and the Osso Bucco with milanese risotto was so big the girl who bought it out had to do so one at a time. The rice was over salted and the osso bucco was tough - all in all - not a pleasant meal. Wouldn't go back and a note to that waitress - there were other people in the restaurant not just that couple who you attended to.

Small, family owned and operated restaurant and cafe in Rosebud. Can be a bit noisy when busy but the food makes it all worthwhile. Our beautiful special occasion dinner was quite simply "magnifica" highly recommended
