Purchased a Security door. The sales and installation process was easy and there was quick turn around for product instillation by friendly staff. Super happy with the quality of the door. It looks amazing!

Fantastic company to deal with Jessie the rep was wonderful and very helpful Rod the installer was an absolute Gem, the only small complaint I have is that the office didn’t make final payment process easy I had to message Jessie and he was very helpful, but overall I was extremely happy with everything, and will be calling again soon to book in more windows for plantation shutters.

Do not recommend Ublinds at all.

My father paid in full on the 2nd Oct 2023 for plantation shutters to be installed. Now on the 6th Dec 2023 we still do not have any shutters installed. Numerous issues and problems including having the wrong size shutters ordered and delivered, then the right size shutters delivered weeks later but no hinges included so the installer could not install them. Then it was, the hinges will be delivered from QLD and now it is the hinges will be ordered from China.

The only comments we get are “we are very sorry for the delay and “we will let you know as soon as they are available” with no action whatsoever from management.

My father has stage 4 cancer with minimal time left and having moved into a brand new house in September he will most likely never see these plantation shutters installed at this rate. Living with chemo treatments and sleeping in a bedroom with sheets stuck to the window instead of his paid for in full shutters.

An absolute disgrace, and no resolution insight. Everyone who answers the phone has a stock standard unhelpful response and management won’t refund the money paid or escalate any installation.

Oh and there are boxes and boxes of useless shutters in the garage which they refuse to collect and are blocking the garage entrance A constant reminder of what a terrible business you are.

So disappointing.

Best service.
Used a competitor in my old house and U Blinds trumps them, hands down!
Informative throughout the buying process, on time installation and professional staff from measurement, through to installation.
I'll be doing the upstairs of my house with them very soon.

No stars if I could.if you can't follow through with your marketing efforts throughout newspapers etc.what's the point? ! After 2 phone calls to head office, multiple phone calls and text messages with no return call on "when they will be installed" after being told "installed before Xmas" I feel for the CS team having to apologize for when Jesse doesn't have the decency to follow up!
Stay away from them.
So many other fantastic small business operators that know how to communicate

I had the worst experience with u blinds. Poor customer service. The free measurement is not true. In the website it says it is free but when I wanted to cancel my order because the order had not been placed yet, they said I have to pay $490 for measurement. They lied and said that they came to my house 4 times for measurement but they came to my house twice only because the first time they forgot to bring curtain samples.

Had them book in to install on the thusday.but rang to cancel 2 days before.was told they would ring to rebook.they rang on the monday morning and said "we can come today luke could be there in a couple of hours but you need to ring the office to pay for them before we install them. " no problem i thought so i said "YES thats great will ring the office" the women said "luke will see you in a couple of hours but he does need payment before he installs them". So i ring and tell work i need the day off.i rang the office 94 minutes after the phone call to pay.and was told "sorry luke has left for the day[its 10.30am ]and we had to rebook for another day"
i replied "i have taken today off on you people telling me you were coming today" they replied "we try to phone you a couple times and it want to voice mail we are not coming until you pay first"
that was not what i was told and they just said "sorry but thats it.payment 1st "
when i told them that i have taken a day off work for this and they want me to take another day off.who is going to pay for the 2nd day off? Ask them if they would take some money off for there mistake they said no.so they can stuff you around and ring you to tell you at 8.54am they are coming today.and change there mind at 10.25 to no we are not and thats fine?
will never use this company again

Very Very Slow. Paid deposit in Feb 2022 and it is now July and we are still waiting for one of the blinds to be installed. Look for another supplier is my advice.

I was so disappointed this time around with Ublinds. I paid 50% deposit and told they’d be installed 6-8 weeks. I understand everyone is having supply chain issues but there was zero communication about delays. After multiple followups with the office from me they were installed after 16 weeks. I had to reschedule the painter multiple times. Jesse the sales guy didn’t respond to anything. The installer was a nice guy but did a terrible install. The caulking was shocking and only done on one side of the blinds. The finish was an abortion of a job. I had to get someone else in to fix it because neither Jesse or the installer responded to my texts to come and fix it.

Our shutters were installed today. The contractor did a good job. Communication is extremely poor. The sales person Jesse should not have a job - he is MIA; did not respond to emails or phone calls. We were quoted 6-8 weeks installation from order date and totally understand the current situation with overseas deliveries; it was 4 months to the day from order placement.

The worst customer service I have ever seen. Ordered and paid 50% deposit for just one awning blind and it took four and half months to get installed. Called so many times and every time they were making different excuses and when I asked to refund the deposit, they refused. Jessica - the customer service lady was very rude. After 4 and half months when they arrange installation, they demanded balance to be paid prior to installation which I refused because I had no trust and Jessica threatened me saying, if I won't pay after installation then they will come back and remove the blind. If you want hassle and poor customer service then use U Blinds. I will never use U Blinds again and will not recommend to anyone. I am running a business and if I will delay any work then I always look after my customer by offering them some sort of discount or some free service but U Blinds do not care about their customers. STAY AWAY FROM U BLINDS. They are very good in making excuses and giving grief to their customers.

Recently had UBlinds install plantation shutters on a home renovated for sale. At first I was concerned as their price was significantly cheaper than competitors. End result - overall savings, totally professional, kept me updated on delivery, excellent installer and terrific result. A great experience overall - Thank you. - Highly recommend.

Plantation shutter measured and got a good price, that’s were it stopped. No customer service, salesman said it will be installed before Christmas if you pay half the payment within 2 days, if it’s not installed prior to Christmas we will give you a further discount. Got a text message saying it won’t installed before Christmas due to shipment issues. I rang the office about the further discount, the customer service people said that’s between you and the salesman we can’t give further discount, when o said I paid you the u blinds company what the salesman quoted and promised, yes but further discount is between the salesman and you.
No customer service whatsoever, I’m contacting the radio to make aware of this company. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Got our Shutters and blinds installed yesterday. They were not delivered before Christmas (as promised) but I can understand the shipping issues with COVID etc, and contact is not great, but this is the only reason for 4 stars. The installer (Tom) was wonderful. Polite, efficient and so clean working. He did a great job. We are really happy with the result. It was well worth the wait. Thank you Tom, Would suggest perhaps a bit more contact with updates on delivery timing - but other than that 100% happy.

This really has been a comedy of errors, but I'm not laughing.

We ordered a full house of blinds from Ublinds for our brand new house in November 2020.

It's December 2021 and we still haven't received our full order.

It took 5 months for the first lot of blinds to arrive.

Turns out the salesman/quoter didn't measure the window frames properly. This meant the installer had to butcher the frames to make them fit (see picture). Of course, they left wood shavings all over the place & didn't both to clean up their mess

In addition to this, there were:
- holes & damages to both the roller blinds and plantation shutters which meant they needed replacing
- incorrect sized roller blinds sent
- incorrect motor sent for automated blind
- missing panels for plantation shutters.

Not to mention the installer clearly hadn't used deodorant for a week or two. We had to air out our house.

After waiting a further 2 months to have this fixed (and requesting a different installer), they still hadn't ordered the missing shutter.

The plantation shutters in all the windows had to be removed & replaced due to the butchering of the frames by the first installer, this left us with no window coverings for 2 weeks.

After waiting a further 2 months, the remaining plantation shutters hadn't arrived. I asked U Blinds to have this sorted out or I would be getting the rest of the order elsewhere & seeking a refund.

Their installer didn't arrive when he said he would, instead rocked up, unannounced, AFTER 9PM AT NIGHT wanting to do the job.

Unprofessional from the start till now. They've had complete payment for 8 months now and haven't delivered in full what I've paid for, let alone fixed all the errors.

Don't get sucked in by their price. It's not worth it.
