Two Rupees Brewing Company reviews
32Have been meaning to check this brewery out for awhile now. We bought a tasting paddle and enjoyed most of their beer other than their coffee stout. Our pick would be the White Ale and Seventh Heaven. They have 8 taps and a tasting paddle is just over $20 for 4 x 100ml pours. A little on the higher end. They also serve bar snacks, so we tried their pan rolls which were nice.
Very friendly service, good atmosphere. Would recommend for an afternoon drink.
Great beer and (wine) selection
Lovely little brewery tucked away in the backstreets of Clayton. Top notch beer, friendly staff and decent food. Highly recommended.
Nice place. A cool "garage" atmosphere. Friendly staff. Beer is really great. Five stars.
Food is really great. Especially, spicy calamary and pepperoni pizza. Restaurant quality.
I had my bucks party here.
Highly recommend the NEPA, Tap Room Series and the "Beer".
The finger food and the pizzas are amazing.
Highly recommend. Perfect for Friday and Saturday evenings before dinner.
If you are in to Imperial Stouts, they presented one of the finest, most complex presentations I have ever tasted. (At 75yo, I've sampled quite a few from across the world.)
I found the Two Rupees brewery by accident and stopped in and grabbed a beer ended u leaving with a carton.
Such amazing beer and really friendly staff
Highly recommend. If you have not visited do yourself a favour.
Great service with a smile, tasty pizza and great beer.
Bonus - always a new rotational beer on pour to try!
Turned up for our 6pm booking, having travelled 12kms to get there, only to be told they closed at 6pm! Why did you take our booking? Why didn't you contact us to say you'd be closing at that time? Why were you not interested? Wouldn't bother trying to come back.
Very interesting location next to all the smash repairers, but plenty of seating for 9 of us on a Saturday lunch time. Beer was great, I loved the chicken wings - they were just spicy and crunchy enough. Would have given 5 stars if not for the slightly underwhelming pizza and long wait time for the food.
Highly rate this place guys!?
You can test the drinks prior to ordering, which is always handy!
Amazing atmosphere (especially when they have live music) and great beer! Family and pet friendly too.
Great little craft brewery. Very nice beers and excellent pizza in a very personal setting. Mostly bar stool seating next to the bar and brewing equipment and table seating next to the kitchen. No real outside area available. The people are very friendly, helpful and attentive and the atmosphere is on point. Takeaway beer available and a small merch stand is present. I am looking forward to big things from this brewery in the future. Not the most disability friendly place with limited parking, rough access, tight walkways and a limited toilet. See photos for menu and brewery layout.
Mad place in an unassuming industrial zone! You have to get the lager they have on tap - straight refreshing.
Come bring some mates and get a tasting board ($22) to share!
Great beers. They have a freshly kegged red ale on tap that is amazing. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. We got to try all of their beers and they told us a bit about how they made them. The spices in the weissbier really made it something special. Highly recommend checking this place out.
Update: they're now doing pizza and other snacks. Great value and still one of our favourites
Always a enjoyable experience to come here. Friendly and caring hosts and staff. Pizzas here are delicious and all washed with some great beers. I tried the White ale, the stiut is with a hint of coffee ant the Directors choice. I have try the others when I come back.
Rupees have been putting in for three years now. They have never missed a beat. Their beers are always flavorful, their prices are fair, their staff are champs and their facilities are respectable.
Highly recommended for anyone that wants the true craft experience.
You deserve it, they deserve it, get on board.
The staff at Two Rupees are the best bunch of humans! Everything about this place is so great, the beers are amazing, the food and vibe along with the music makes this place so awesome!
Excellent brewery, prioritising quality over quantity with their modest but excellent range of beers.
The Seventh Heaven Neipa and Double Berry Drop Sour were the highlights, but excellent West Coast IPA and Pale Ale offerings are available too.
The pizza, while standard offering for most breweries, was delicious and I would get it again; plus the staff informed me that they are adding Pan Rolls to their menu soon too which will give it a little Sri Lankan twist.
I will definitely be back:)
Came here for the first time with a group of friends last night. Great little find in Clayton. The pizzas were delicious and recommend trying out the sour beer!
