Twisters Gymnastics reviews
18Great area / equipment for kids of all ages. Equipment is well maintained. There is a foam put too. Friendly staff. Knowledgeable instructors. Kids love it!
Have been taking my toddler for open gym for the past few weeks. Involves exploring the gym, before gathering round for a little exercise with a coach who is amazingly good with toddlers
Great teachers. After a few months I can tell that my kid has become more confident and controlled in his movement. He’s 5.
My daughter has enjoyed years of gymnastics programs here ever since she was in prep, now she is in grade 3. The equipments are very new, environment is excellent. Coaches care and love all the kids. A great place for kids to release excess energy and have fun.
Normally there are 2 coaches in one class, sometimes one coach. Around 8 kids in one class, 10 mins warm up, then coach will demonstrate what to do next, kids sit there and watch, then start to practice on the equipments, kids will be separated into a few groups and take turns practicing on different equipments. Along with kids’ growth, there will be a chance that your kid is offered to join Competitive Squad Training program or Club Badge class. Competitive Squad Training program normally runs 2 times a week, one day is weekday after school, the other day is on weekend, for 7-9 years old group, per session runs about 2 hours. Club Badge class is a 1.5 hour class rather than normal 1 hour Badge and Star class. Content is more targeted.
Depending on the purpose and expectation and kids long-run plan and parents’ available time along with kids’ interest, Twisters Gymnastics is definitely a great place to start with. For slight older kids, I personally would probably hope coaches be a bit stricter, I know it is not easy to balance correcting kids to meet standard, getting kids improved, meanwhile still need to let kids feel good about themselves and have continuous interest per short session, yet if kids could have better understanding about what they are going to aim to achieve, clearer goal, knowing what they are already doing well, and where need to focus more, after practicing, practicing again, eventually achieve, kids will actually gain more confidence and become more self-driven rather than just being there. Maybe along with 2 assessments per year, some short feedbacks could be provided to kids during the term would be helpful?
We are very grateful for our experience with "Twisters". I liked the centre, from the management and administration to the coaches and equipment - it was a fantastic journey. And we can not be happier.
Thank you very much for being so patient and supportive, professional and brilliant, and thank you very much for the wonderful community and amazing friends, which we’ve met in the centre! It was amazing experience and I can not recommend it more.
The coaches are fantastic with young children and genuinely care for each and every one of them. The activities are varied and there is always something new and fun for them to learn. The staff are dedicated to their ongoing development and help challenge the children with new things to try in a safe environment.
A very large gym, and good coaches, but to get there, there is a very steep hill and rather small car park.
Great area / equipment for kids of all ages. Friendly staff. Knowledgeable instructors. Kids love it!
Worst ever experience. While the gymnastics is great for kids the Management is so poor I can no longer let my daughter go here.
Good bday party venue. Spacious. My only concern would be in the summer around temperature control as it was about 7-10 degrees hotter inside than outside on a standard spring day.
Nice and light. Equipment is new. The instructors there are quite good with the kids for gym class. Been a few times for parties and kids have fun. My only thing is it smells like old socks but it is a gym after all.
They don't take your injeries seriously.
One coach called me lazy because I couldn't do something. I have been there for a few years and haven't learnt a thing.
I went here as a child and i was very offended because one of the other children called me and idiot.
You need to tell more about classes and teachers and students and other things kaygees is the best they about everything thing I give them 5 stars
I just went here today my first time here great coaches great kids. And a great team sport I was really scared at the start than wasn't scared these coaches are so positive and motivational. Best place ever. Thank you so much Matt for being such an fantastic coach.

We've been going to twisters for three years and love it. We also use the holiday program occasionally and it's a huge help.
Well organised. When I enrolled my 6yo last year the staff were clear on the processes, including waiting list management, parking, payments and the educational program. The classes run on time and there do not seem to be any issues with staff failing to turn up or be well prepared for the lessons.
The classes are well structured, keeping junior primary school kids engaged and enjoying themselves. And there is no bullying or excessive pressure on participants on show.
All very happy.
Fantastic organisation for our children, the kids love going, learning new skills and developing independence.
