Twelve Apostles - Visitor Facility reviews
63 It took 3 and a half hours to get here from Bendigo, but it was worth coming. It is truly a great ocean and amazing scenery.
I should have come early in the morning. When I arrived at 3pm, there were so many tourists that it was difficult to take pictures.
It is such an amazing scenic spot. The lookout is so crowded, so you have to be there either very late or very early. A must go place
Great view. Always busy with tourists. Great stop for bathroom break or to buy local small gifts.
This well known collection of sea stacks is just off Victoria's Great Ocean Road. There's plenty of parking at the visitors centre, and from there it's a short easy walk under the road to the lookouts.
Out of 12 only 6 Apostles were left. On the way to 12 Apostles, other scenic look outs were better. It seems to be overhyped.
Really beautiful but very windy. Easy to get to and everything accessible with good paths.
My third visit to the Twelve Apostles along the Great Ocean Road was my luckiest yet, with clear skies and brilliant sunshine. The Twelve Apostles remain as awe-inspiring as ever, and the well-maintained kiosks and visitor center offer valuable maps and information about the famous sights along the Great Ocean Road. I'd recommend all visitors to arrive in the morning for the best lighting. Additionally, they provide free restrooms and ample parking, making it a convenient and enjoyable stop along this iconic route.
Amazing work of nature. Scenic view with nice ocean breeze. Definitely do not regret here despite the distance in the freezing cold weather
Recommend all around the area to come admire the nature before climate change happens. Even if you’ve been here before, each time you come if will be a different view due to the work of nature.
Love this 12 Apostles to see in front of me. Amazing views and great experience to go there.
Loved it as sunset. What a site and now during covid not many tourists around you can just sit and enjoy the view unobstructed.
Amazing views over the 12 Apostles. We were there on a cloudy, wet day, but it was still spectacular.
It's beautiful and scenic. I wouldn't say it's the main destination. Plenty of other sight seeing points from Port Campbell to Petersborough
Showing its age
Walks well maintained and well signed
Pity some do not understand OneWay
Scenic beauty, good pit stop to have if you are doing great ocean drive. Better to go during sunset as the sunset is fascinating. Make sure you visit the information desk, if you need more information on near by local look out points. Ample parking and toilets available.
The Lookout is great, very accessible to everyone. Stunning views from various angles to get that perfect photo.
If you are in Victoria then first famous destination is Twelve Apostles Lookout. Must visit and highly recommended. The ocean drive is worth watching and best route so far. Do cover all the spot. Sadly now it's 7 apostles remaining but then also it looks beautiful. Do visit at sunset cause the view is next to heaven. Many spots to visit near this lookout. Plan accordingly and cover maximum spots like loch ard, the arc and etc.
Last time I was here, there were twelve apostles. Since then a few have disappeared, the sea eroded their base and they collapsed into the ocean. Definitely worth a visit
I travelled a lot, but i think this is one of the most, if not the most beautiful place i've seen so far. I was there in 2016, so it was when i was younger, if it was definitly one of the best spot i've seen in my entire life
Absolutely beautiful location, definitely not overrated, only issue was it was hard to find the entry point to view the stunning scenery. Definitely worth the drive
