My 7 year old son started tutoring to help with his reading and writing. He had lost all confidence, was afraid to put his hand up to contribute in the classroom and was frustrated and angry with school. In just a short time we have seen a total transformation, he is now a confident and happy boy who loves school, actively participates in the classroom and has made amazing progress with his reading and writing. He really enjoys attending the sessions and Darcie and Sandy are not only supportive but make the learning fun! This has been the best decision we made for our son and we would recommend it to anyone.

The team at Tutoring Works has been very personable and professional.
They always worked on the subject topic that he was working on at school, which made the progression of learning from the classroom appear seemless and it allowed him to be more confident at school. The only reason we stopped was my son has been offered tutoring through a School Program during school hours. During COVID lockdown, they were very adapative and really assisted my son as he struggled to keep up with the workload with very minimal assistance. I can not thank Sandy and her team enough for tutoring my son through Year 12 this year in Maths and English. They have being professional at all times with fantastic communication in a constantly changing year. I believe it has made all the difference to the marks my son has achieved throughout a very difficult year to complete Year 12 and ultimately will effect his Atar for the better. With a combination of tutoring sessions onsite and online due to covid, all sessions were targeted to his point of need, resulting in a dramatic improvement in his results.
As well as an improvement in his academic results, the tutoring sessions guided him on how to study the most effectively, his organisation and in turn boosting his confidence and well being. The only regret I have is waiting until my son was in Year 12 to begin tutoring with Tutoring works. Thank you again Sandy and team, you have taken the stress out of Year 12!

We could not be happier with the service and support provided by Tutoring Works Geelong for our daughter. I have been associated with Sandy and her team for nearly twenty years. I was fortunate that Sandy was recommended to me when I needed a tutor for my eldest daughter. Sandy and her team are professional but they are still friendly and caring. They work hard with your child so they can excel at their school work. Tutoring Works has excellent teachers with an inviting and safe space. I would highly recommend for parents wanting to provide extra support for their kids. Darcie also has expert knowledge working with kids with special needs.
