Turnbulls Hire - Car , 4wd , Minibus and Truck Rental

We were very happy with all aspects of our hire. It had been some time since our previous hire, due to covid.
From our first call to enquire about availability, to returning the bus everyone was helpful and friendly. The bus was very clean and plenty of room for us all.

Hired Toyota Hiace for 2 days for a family trip. Almost Everything about the vehicle was good.
Latest features with Android Auto, Digital speedo, Sunroof etc.

Only con: Not unlimited kms. Just 100 km free per day

Excellent service, quality clean vehicle and competitively priced. I was picked up from the airpot by their shuttle bus which saved me having to work my way through the crowds at the waiting desks with other car rental providers.

When I returned the vehicle the staff inspected the car with me all was in good order and I was taken back to the airport by the friendly staff at Turnbulls Hire.

Highly recommended.

Don't use this company they are a absolutely horrible.my mum hired a truck Thursday then return Friday yeah we handed the truck in late yes we didn't fuel it up but you had $1000 deposit so why are you complaining we paid the late fee we paid for the fuel. We apologize but the lady on the phone was rude unhelpful doesn't care bout there customers also they tried to blame us for damages that we didn't do (we had picture of damage before we took the truck so. (Everyone I have warned you) you pay for what you get for I guess should have just went to budget

My partner and I read good reviews and went down to hire a FWD to tow a stock crate which we were hiring from another place which i gave the name of.
The manager told us he had to ask the owner (via phone call/not standard procedure?) because we were towing and putting horses on the stock crate. We explained the specs of the crate, horses, etc and ensured we were going to be well under half the max weight of capacity when horses are loaded. Sadly the manager told us the owner won’t let us hire the car due to not being comfortable with towing a stockcrate with 3 small horses on it. We were really inconvenienced by this and feel were treated unfairly because of our reason for hire which essentially isn’t really their business or should impact the hire unless it was an illegal thing.
We do understand and respect that it’s the owners property however this is supposedly a hire business and it’s not exactly smart to turn away genuine customers especially when there is contracts in place for the owners protection. We won’t be returning or recommending this place. Be aware.

Was very impressed by the professionalism from the staff at Turnbulls. Grace was amazing to deal with, managing to book a bus in for me last minute and her communication was impeccable. The bus looked as good as new and we had no issues on the day. It's also really helpful the way they cover everything in videos/photos before and after your hire. After hours drop off is so helpful as well. Will definitely be using Turnbulls Pakenham for future hires! Thanks so much!

As a school that needs bus hire to be well organised I was reassured by the bus arriving with time to make all the checks and signing off manageable. I liked the videos of inside and around the bus and liked that the invoice reflected what had been quoted.

I am a frequent user of Turnbulls Hire Pakenham and have never had a problem. The staff are excellent and very helpful. Prices are reasonable, vehicles are really good. Wouldn't`t use anyone else.

I had to move my family, mother-in-law and father-in-law. Great service, helpful staff and really fuel economical vehicles. I did many many kilometres and the excess price per k is excellent.

Hired a vehicle and got the most professional level of service from a most affable employee named Ian.he ensured my experience with Turnbull was the most pleasurable. To him and all at Turnbull I take my hat off and hereby promise I will go nowhere else for a vehicle hire again.keep up the stellar work!

Great service in the booking stages, pick-up and drop off of a 6.6 Mtr furniture truck. The vehicle was in good condition and drove well.plenty of power and comfort for the job I hired it for.also, Great value compared to other hire companies from what I found.

I use Turnbulls Hire in Pakenham regularly for hiring buses and the service is always great. Vehicles are clean, sorted and all relevant damage reports are done before you arrive. You simply arrive, have your drivers licence and payment ready, verify damage report, km reading and full tank and you are on your way.

I hired a truck from the Pakenham branch and had absolutely no problems picking it up or dropping it off. The online booking system in comparison to others were informative and made it easy for me to pick the one I wanted. Well done guys.

Filled truck full of fuel they told me it wasn't full and charged me. Have since seen videos showing the trucks tanks have to overflow and spill onto the environment before they will display full. SCAM

Hired a furniture truck (car licence) Booked online on the Saturday for Monday morning pick up, received confirmation email Monday morning. Great service and rates, easy pick up with everything explained and thorough going over of the vehicle. Best rates by far and the truck was almost new with everything needed - Sat Nav, reverse camera, trolley and hydraulic lift all included in the price. Will use again when the need arises.
