We've visited a few times now, and always get friendly service and great food. Plus there's plenty of choice. Recommended.

DONT EAT HERE! I ordered the rice vermicelli SALAD with lemongrass beef and I got a bowl of noodles with lettuce and a pile of beef stir fry on top! No cucumber, no mint, no pickled carrot, soggy lettuce = NO SALAD!
When I called to ask if they would replace my order I was told that I got what I ordered, what was on the menu, when I probably got someone’s left over stir fry dumped on top of some noodles.
I was told they would refund my order but when I brought it back the next day I was made to wait 15+ minutes and then they tried to give me $7 when I paid $18!
I waited 40+ minutes and was told by the manager to leave my bank account number and maybe she would transfer the money, or I could come back tomorrow as their payment system was broken (although I had seen other customers pay their bills). I am furious!
I will never eat here and recommend that you don’t either!

Our go to local restaurant for hearty, home cooked and fulfilling meals. The flavour is always amazing and the take away meals are always hot! We’re always served like family and cared for. My favourites are the Pho or Vermicelli with spring rolls:)

My favourite Vietnamese restaurant in the area. The pho has an amazing stock and th calamari is cooked to perfection. To top it all off the lovely lady who runs the place calls everyone darling, the kids know it as the darling restaurant.

Great meal for the family - sauteed beef wth garlic sauce was delicious with plenty of perfectly cooked vegetables. Plus best special rice tasted in range from Templestowe through to Balwyn. Will be returning.

This is our go to local take away / dine in for a bite to eat or birthday. The food is always fresh and amazing, the service is lovely and it's not too expensive! We love the food here and will continue to come, it's our favourite local!

We have been going to Tuong Long for years for either lunch or dinner. You will greeted with a "how nice to see you darling. " Kim (chef) and Cindy are very hard working ladies that provide delicious food and friendly service. The serves are generous with an extensive menu at competitive prices. I also bring a large group.of mates here every few months for a tailored banquet meal in the upstairs private area. It must be good as we keep coming back. It's great to be able to support our local businesses and build a valued relationship. Give them a go.

I've been coming here for a few years now, almost since they first opened. Tucked away on Whitehorse Road at the intersection with Union Road, this local family owned Vietnamese restaurant is much better than anything I've found down the road in dirty, noisy, crowded Box Hill.
Never been disappointed with the food and cleanliness, the Phõ is especially flavoursome. Extensive menu, good value too and a pleasant atmosphere.

Delicious and hot pho on a cold winter's night is so satisfying! The portion is huge for the price, definitely worth a visit.

The food is awesome. But oh my his the service is atrocious. The kids waited for fried rice for an hour. How can fried rice take so long? They need to hire some staff. Staying within the family doesn’t help.

This is definitely the best Vietnam restaurant around Box Hill. We love all the dishes there, especially their pho! And we hope to come back more often and try different new dishes in Tuong Long. And it also has many Chinese cuisine as well. Highly recommended

Took an hour for order to come after being told it would be out very quickly. Place seems to be popular but when it gets busy they appear to lose the plot.
