Tullamarine Sheet Metal

Waited 3 weeks for order to be completed and just been told they can't/ won't do it. Not impressed.

Feel like I got stitched. Paid over $200 for a small repair. No materials, and would have taken no more than 30 mins to complete. A grind, A small weld, a heat and straighten. Small metal piece.
Was told it’s quick and easy. Small job!
I wonder what the hourly rate is?

I should have done it myself. I just didn’t have a welder.

I was presented with the bill first before seeing the completed job. Once I asked for the job to be brought out, the lead fabricator I discussed the job with dropped it on the bench saying his too busy to talk and ran out. Pretty sure it was because of the invoice amount.
Office staff and I were stunned.

Office staff were pleasant this time. It was indeed a fast turnaround. (simple and small job $200.)

Anyhow, I paid it. Feel like I shouldn’t have because of the rude individual doing the work (only at the time of pick up) and the feeling of getting ripped off. No one feels good about that.

Always get a quote upfront!

I hope they have a nice beer with my easy money for Xmas.

I am so disappointed with the service provided by this company. I’ve waited over 3 months to have my job completed and it never got done. Dianne took on the job saying that they will do it and yet I’ve called and emailed numerous times and she never followed up or actually had the intention of doing it. I left parts for my job at their premises which hindered the ability to run my business. The customer service and follow-up is literally zero. Dianne just palmed me off to someone else not even giving me a reasonable explanation why I’ve waited 3 months. Never will I recommend this business to anyone.

Have been using TSM for longer than I can remember. Quality of work is second to none and my dealings have always been first class hence the reason for using them for so long. Diane is always willing to help and provide the desired outcome.

I ordered some stainless sheet metal cut to a particular size. They got it ready and got me out of trouble. They made my work look top notch. Would happily use them again.

I lucked on to these guys. Fantastic service and knowledge from both Adam and Jayde. I had a tight turn around time requirement and they delivered EARLY! I only had a small-ish job for them (a fireplace hearth) and they were not phased - pretty much as Jayde said: "if it can be made out of metal, we can make it".

I've always found Matt to be very helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend them for all your sheet metal needs.

Been using this company for years. Don't understand the negative comments. The boys are fantastic. Always get a great finished product.

As a regular-but-small customer of TSM, I feel that the negative reviewers here have missed the point completely. The question you need to be asking yourself is "Do I want a high quality job, completed on time, every time at an excellent price? " If the answer is "Yes", then you should do business with Tullamarine Sheet Metal.

Disgustingly bad service! I have called numerous times, emailed countless times, and even visited in person and I still cant get a job to be processed. A complete waste of time dealing with these guys.

**UPDATE> Diane tried to blame an incorrect phone number for the no communication, although she has called me once before! Trying to blame me for their pathetic customer service is abhorrent.

I’m really surprised at the negative reviews not sure how you can review someone based on just a phone call but anyway, I’ve had nothing but good experiences time and time again with the crew here. Would definitely recommend for powder coating services!

The worse place I have ever had to deal with not only have they lost half of the items I needed done which can't be replaced. Waited 3 months for other items to be completed only to be told bad luck haven't had time to
do them either and for the parts they have lost know care at all.

Promise to return phone calls but never do. No work gets done, can't get hold of Diane, only office person who promises Diane will call back but she never does.

Dianne is a nice lady who works long hours at this business. The work is always very good and the pricing reasonable. That's the essence.

IKR, There is a woman call Diane who was extremely rude over the phone and never returns any of your calls. She took 3 months to get back to me only to say she can't do it. They've wasted my time, and ought to be out of business.

I took my business elsewhere because of the rude woman answering the phone and the way she speaks with potential customers.
