Truffaux - Superb Hat Store

Amazing selection of excellent quality hats. Such a beautiful store - the whole atmosphere is so lovely. The owner Oska is incredibly skilled and knows so much about his craft, as well as being a truly lovely person. Could not recommend this shop enough - if you need a hat or not!

I contacted Truffaux a few weeks ago, hoping to find an answer to some questions as I selected my first Panama hat. Oska replied to me shortly after, answering my questions and providing additional information to ease my concerns about making such a personal purchase online. I placed the order and my hat arrived in Missouri a few weeks later. The packaging and hat arrived in perfect condition, and the hat color matched exactly the pictures on the Truffaux website. It fits wonderfully, and I'm already considering a second purchase of a darker colored hat for other occasions. An altogether pleasant experience - thank you, Oska!

I'm so happy to find this place, I've had a "Truffaux" panama hat for at least 10 years and is still in good condition. The quality and style of these hats is second to none it was a treat to meet the big man himself!

I brought my first Charmer some twelve years ago and I rarely went out of the house without it, winter, spring summer and autumn. Most everybody I met admired it greatly. It has travelled with me on several Mediterranean trips, surviving cramped luggage compartments and all the other hazards that travelling can throw at you… It even survived a dip in a lake at The Botantic gardens, floating majestically after a sudden gust of wind sent it sailing. Though constant use and time has taken its toll, making me decided to purchase a new edition, it will remain ready as a backup over the next twelve years…

Despite opening late today lol he proceeded to fit an elderly gentleman with a lovely felt hat for his 80th birthday. Happy Birthday Ron.whilst I rummaged through the caps, trying various ones on and generally making a mess!

What a great store!

We happened to be walking past the store in Olinda and popped in to have a look. The atmosphere of this little shop was warm and welcoming. Great music was playing and Anna (the shop keeper) was very friendly and knowledgeable. There is an incredible range of hats to choose from and I think we tried on most of them. If it wasn't for the need to meet people we could have spent hours in there. Truffaux is definitely worth a visit if you're in Olinda.
