Tropicana Motor Inn

The room is large and comfortable. It provides a microwave, refrigerator, kettle, etc. After watching the penguins and returning home, it is very convenient to go back to the room for dinner.
There is also a set of tables and chairs in the room (just enough for eating) and a couch (for resting).
The hot water in the bathroom is very hot, which is great.

We had a pleasant night at Tropicana. The location is great. The room was clean and had everything you need. Recommended!

Very neat and well organised interior. Bright and comfy beds. You can just walk to find foods, cafe and the beach. The wifi was just on and off and extremely slow.

Tropicana Motor Inn is a great budget friendly option. It has a split system air-conditioning system and WiFi which worked extremely well (I could watch a TV show on my laptop). The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower had amazing water pressure. An easy walk to the beach which is at the end of the street and easy to walk into central Cowes for food.

Had a wedding last Monday so opted to stay the night instead of doing the long drive on wet country roads to get home What a gem this place is, was great room Microwave to heat milk in, so took some cereal for brekky. Lovely quiet street within walking distance to Coles and shops and a minute walk to beach if you were staying longer

Very happy with my accommodation. Clean, comfortable, roomy, with kettle, microwave, aircon, electric blanket on a very comfy, large bed. Large couch to relax on, the room was a good size not pokey like some motels. A large bathroom with a spa. Quiet, room not on street frontage (quiet street though). Did note the bbq and pool although I didn't use either. Highly recommended, I'll be back. Walking distance to beach and shops.

Great location as it is close to everything and just a short walk to the beach. The pool looks amazing and very clean the beds are very clean which we are very happy about as we have had bad kick with other motels in the past.

Will definitely be back. All on 1 level & clean room. Friendly service. Worth the 2 hour drive from Dandenong.

This was in a great location. Room was clean and spacious. The receptionist was lovely and helpful with my questions about the island. Would definitely recommend

Decent place for a quick stay, not the biggest pool, staff are friendly, right next to the beach.

Clean, big rooms well kept and quiet. My welcome wasn't the best, I felt the man on reception didn't want to be there and I was putting him out. However, a good motel apart from the threatening signs in the rooms. Beware, this motel has a low entrance, if you have an SUV with roof rack, beware.

The location was great.
The room was well appointed- the bed was very comfortable, the room was warm and all other amenities were great.
The owners were very helpful and friendly and explained the local things to do and see if which we chose to follow and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We stayed on a Saturday night after visiting the penguins. The motel had tea/coffee, kettle, toaster and microwave which made it easy for us to feed our little one without buying a meal out. The motel was clean and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. I'd recommend staying here and would stay again if we find ourselves in Phillip Island.

Prices are a little pricey for a night for just the room with no extras and didnt have much in the way of appliances

Very clean and well organised my wife and I enjoyed our stay. And both breakfasts were hot and delicious.

Modern fit out, very comfortable and very affordable for quality of rooms. Fantastic front desk service - booked us in late and provided advice and recommendations for local attractions and restaurants.

We stayed there for 2 nights. Rooms are not 100% clean. We were in room 18. There were cobwebs on top of the ceiling. Swimming Pool is not like pool. Just like a pond. Major concern is when we asked a jug of drinkable water from the guy who worked there simply said use the bathroom sink. The answer was terrible. Simply value for the money. But customer service and cleanliness should be much improved. Thanks

Stayed here for 2 nights, great relaxing stay without any issues. Owners were kind, respectful and pleasant to talk to. Nice and spacious rooms, we stayed in 12, nice king size bed and spar. Couldn't fault the stay at all. Rooms have easy access and plenty of parking for each room.

Shower has a dispenser with soap, shampoo & conditioner, so no more little bottles that the environment dislikes.

Disability access friendly - All rooms are ground level.

We had a lovely time at the Tropicana our room was beautiful nice breakfasts will go back again
