Tropicana Juice/Food Bar

Extremely basic. Juices were ok. Avocado on toast was just that, half toasted bread slices with mashed avocado. No spices, nothing else. Not appealing and not tasty.

Don’t know now I haven’t written a review yet for this place because it’s a Melbourne institution!

I’ve been here a good few times as it’s fairly priced, quick service and great juices/smoothies! My favourite is the just banana one because idk how they do it but it’s so delicious and addictive! When I’m feeling a bit under the weather it is ESSENTIAL to get the cold and flu buster and by the next day I’m back to normal.

You’ve been living under a rock if you haven’t had at least one of their drinks!

During a recent visit to Tropicana's Elizabeth Street location, I had the pleasure of indulging in their renowned "South American Delight" smoothie. Having experienced the same drink at a different Tropicana branch, I was pleasantly surprised by the distinct difference in flavour and texture. The Elizabeth Street rendition was notably creamier, with a subdued citrus profile that allowed the other elements to shine. The interplay between the strawberry-tinged undercurrent and the milky undertone created an exquisite harmony of flavours, surpassing my previous encounter. This iteration of the South American Delight is a true testament to Tropicana's mastery of taste, and it has earned its place as a delightful elixir worth savouring time and time again.

Delicious and super fresh juices. Yummy salsa wrap. Definitely must try in Melbourne city. Price is also very reasonable.

Very average place. Small dining but take out is preferable. You can have healthy food here. Mine was average taste and quality.

One of the best Smoothies I’ve ever tasted. And the breakfast burrito was also very nice! But if I’d lived in Melbourne, this would be my daily smoothie spot!

Very popular juice bar, has more juice to choose from aside from the outdoor menu. Prepared fairly quickly, and tastes great.

DISAPPOINTING! The açai bowl came with maybe half a strawberry. It was pretty much a smoothie with a few diced pieces of fruit thrown in. I highly recommend going to the other Tropicana, completely opposite

I have Been coming to this place for years, at the time of this review, they have had 20 years under the current owners, and honestly not much has changed over the years. If it ain't broken why fix. The recipes and menu have only had slight variations over the years and a good steady flow of customers. Keep up the great work. If I had to complaint about something it would be, sometimes the traffic going past can be quite annoying, specially if you keep getting trucks go by, I think some sort of clear plastic, glass barrier would be great to deflect the heat smoke, dust.

Got the small berry açai bowl and was very good. That açai and all fruit were fresh. The small felt like a large since it was very big serving sizes I could barely finish it all. Was $15 for this specific one but prices went up depending on which bowl you get, was definitely worth the price. Can’t customise it but choose from a set few also has other breakfast options available.

Love Tropicana’s acai bowls and juices/smoothies so much since they use fresh fruits only. The base of their acai bowls are made of pure acai, with no other fruits like other places usually make them, which makes it unique and very delicious (at other places where they add bananas, the banana taste is so strong that it overpowers the acai). Also, the price is very cheap and affordable.

Also had their wrap. It was super big and filling for the price paid, but I thought it was not as tasty. It’s something you can’t go wrong with, but definitely can be a bit more seasoned. Nonetheless, they have many healthy options for those who are health conscious!

I did not like the South American Delight, although my friend did! I thought it had a weird bitter/ sour after taste.

Tried Orange juice and South American Delight.to be honest both were truly the best. 7/5 if I could rate it.
Great customer service and prompt delivery. Very clean and aesthetic looking place.

I'm a regular customer. Overall it's being good experience but today I found very little black stone kind things in my smoothie which is hard to brake by hand also. It maybe because you didn't wash the fruits properly. I hope you take care this matter seriously.

Do you value honesty and customer service or good food? If your answer is the first then don’t bother with this place. If you prefer the second you’ll enjoy it here.

Manager was initially reluctant to refund an order that was cancelled. Will assume you’re doing the wrong thing rather than assume good from their customers. They value money over customer service here

Honestly didn't think much of it from the outside, however once our order came out, my opinion changed.
My Acai Bowl was simply amazing, and my juice was delicious.
Definitely recommend, and will return.

Best smoothie ever, amazing atmosphere, the staff were very lovely. I asked what the waitresses favourite drink was and she said the mango colada and she wasn't wrong!

Great juice bar with the best tasting juice. They don't use sugar in any of their juices. I tried the south American delight and it was delicious and gave me lots of energy

I get their cherry ripe shake and it’s pretty amazing. It’s perfect for someone like me who really like sweet things, but I can imagine many would think it’s too sweet. Much better than boost juice (which you can literally make at home in 30 seconds by yourself anyways.)

The most fresh juice in the town with chairs outside to enjoy the summer drinking a good juice.
