One of my favourite places to be on Friday Nights. The Atmosphere and the staff are amazing, love getting together with my
friends for a drink and a dance!

Have been going here for a while now, the staff & management are very welcoming & friendly. Has a very warm environment, Food is great, BEST PLACE for drinks and a night out with friends

Myself and a girlfriend had a dinner catch up at Thrombar tonite, must say was impressed with the quality of food delish and the hospitality was a 10 not to mention the company of Frank was a pleasure meeting you. We will be back to bust some dance moves and enjoy the your great bar.

On Sat 11th Nov, my family, friends and I headed to Stakes Day. Afterwards, we had a booking for dinner and drinks at Trombar. The service provided was flawless. We were warmly greeted in as a group of about 20 people and once dinner was ordered it arrived promptly and was delicious. My niece was given a chef special soup to meet a dietary requirement and was given the left over to take home. Staff checked on us a few times to ensure all was well. The cocktails were amazing! We really enjoyed the atmosphere as it got later with a live reggae band in the front area and the beer garden was so relaxing and fun to spend time in with our friends. All in all, this place was an amazing venue to have a function in! Check it out!)

The restaurant turns into a bar after 9-9.30pm with mix of live music and DJ on Friday nights. Great back outdoor aera with its own bar.

Was very disappointed coming to this place as I was told that my favourite band was playing there last night. In fact Cisco had a gig elsewhere. We couldn't get a table anywhere. The bar staff didn't make any effort to accommodate 2 people for a couple of tapas. Sad place

Came to Trombar last night for dinner and wow was it fun! Amazing food, cocktails delicious and music was a vibe. Definitely coming back.

Food is always fresh and amazing. The service was quick and all staff specially the host Dorathy was friendly and accomodating. Would highly recommend this place to eat and have fun with the awesome music and friendly atmosphere.

This has to be the coolest bar in Melbourne!
I thought I was somewhere in New York! OMG, the live entertainment is “next level”! The cocktails, tequila and food are delicious and the service is excellent! I’m so glad we found this place!

Amazing restaurant, food and cocktails were incredible and the wait staff are the best, will definitely be coming back soon!

Very disappointed with food. Poor quality fries found at a cheap fish and chip shop. Rib eye came out cold and over done. The only nice dish was the pasta and cocktails. Manager kept hassling us to dance in the front room and bribing us with a shot. Very unprofessional.

Such a fun vibe here! And the coconut tequila shots are something else. Meat and cheese board is delish and presented so nicely!

The photos don’t do this place justice as the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. Really enjoyed it - I’ll be back.

Trombar has so much potential let’s hope they can get it right!
Greeted by an amazing host loads of personality and just lovely, barman was great with his cocktails and pizazz tasty drinks. As for the food just missed the mark very hit and miss with flavour and balance (meatballs sauce was bland) and the way it was presented (beef on a board and the juices dripping onto the table) and the side salad came out before every main 20 mins before which was weird. Also asked the waitress what cheeses they were serving on the cheese board and she had no idea had to ask 2 others what they were, once I knew what they were I ordered it and didn’t disappoint. Could be a teething problem but not a bad night but could be amazing!
I would’ve given 2 stars if it wasn’t for the drinks/cocktails!

Pleasant atmosphere. Food nicely presented. Very attentive wait staff. Just wondering if there's a shortage of plates and glasses?

Hit this place up Friday night after a work Xmas dinner.
What a place! As soon as you arrive you are greeted at the door and instantly feel the love. Nice DJ and live band (even a guy on the sax) set up in the corner, amazing friendly and courteous staff who treat you like a regular straight up, great drinks, cool set up and amazing food.
What else do you need.

Great atmosphere, somehow blending fashionable, laid back, urban and upbeat into one. The friendliest management and staff in town and great food and drinks. Plus cool tunes. Simply put, this is just a nice place to be!

Great food and great atmosphere. Owner is a great guy and even shouted us a couple of shots. Will be back
