Monty and Casey looked after us. They are legends of the game. No word of a lie.: these are legitimately the best pies I’ve ever had. Apart from the butter chicken one in NZ. So refreshing to see someone take their pie game seriously. Get around it

The lady serving seemed a bit sad and glum, just couldn't manage a smile.
Coffee was milky and bitter.a bit like the service.
The baymarie was also a little sparce, being around 9am in the morning.
Maybe next time.

We came here on a nice sunny Sunday from Ballarat, and it was definitely worth the drive. There was a great selection of hot food on offer and we settled on a Cornish pastie, sausage roll, regular pie and a mushroom pie.
They were all amazing, proper fresh mushrooms in the pie and heaps of veg in the pastie. The kids loved the sausage rolls (they are really big) and my wife said the plain pie was possibly the best she has ever had.

We grabbed a couple of of slices as well, notable was the vanilla slice.

Great little spot only a couple of min drive from the Trentham Falls and we'll worth the drive up from Ballarat or surrounding areas.

A genuine country bakery no a transplant from a snobbie Melbourne suburb. Fabulous coffee, food & service

Best pastie I have ever had. Very tasty and full of meat and vegetables covered with a lovely light pastry.

If you can find a Bakery as good as this one in Victoria I would be surprised!

For a small country bakery, these folks punch well above their weight. Friendly, helpful management and staff. Excellent quality, flavours and range. The spinach and fetta pasties are amazing but often sell out. Try the apple cakes. Yummo!

Last Saturday called in mid afternoon. A cheery and helpful young woman served me. What an asset to the business! I had a mushroom pie, I haven’t done an in-depth study of mushroom pies but this was fab! Great service & pie

Great service great food all round great experience we were a group of 12 from Bacchus marsh nothing was too much trouble for them highly recommend

Best sausage roll I have ever had! The closest I have had to my mums! The plain pie was all amazing!

Visited from Melbourne, stopped as they were closing the store but stayed open for one last order.

Tried the curry beef pie and the ratio of pastry to filling was perfect!

Well I might have been late for food but there wasn't much left, couple salad rolls. Coffee was terrible

Been a couple of times on long bike rides starting in Woodend. I've had the pepper steak pie twice and have been satisfied both times. Last time one of the staff refilled my water bottles which was awesome! Always keen to return.

Some of the best pies I've had. Staff were friendly and did a great job managing our large group that turned up unexpectedly

Pies limited at one in the avo, but all fully filled and super tasty! Better than the pub across the road!
