Trav's Automotive

I have been using Trav for 10 years and he has helped me with all my cars honestly and reliably. One of them being a 'lemon' 200 series landcruiser that had an oil leak. I'm positive he put more hours into finding the issue than he charged me for and ended up having to remove the entire engine to replace an oil seal. I have now moved over an hour away so I unfortunately have to find a new mechanic. This is definitely the mechanic you should be using if you live in the area. Thanks for your work Trav, I hope that I can find someone like you on my side of town.

Trav had my car fixed within a couple of hours. He was honest, easy to talk too and hard working! I loved that when i called i spoke directly to him. Usually i dread getting my car checked but he made the whole experience quick and easy, and definitely put my mind at ease.

I have sent my vehicles to Trav for several years. Trav really looks after the cars, and the people who drive them. There are no hidden surprises, Trav always phones if anything extra needs to be worked in. His prices are always reasonable and fair. Always an amazing service with Travs, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I have sent my whole family there to have their cars looked after. They too are very happy.

Had the head of my Cruiser repaired due to overheating. Was quoted around $5000 minimum by 3 differant repairers. Took it to Trav and h had it repaied for $2200. All other services completed on 3 other cars were great and a lot cheaper than his rivals

Just like most mechanics in melton. They all want to get payed for doing nothing, trav should team up with melton automotive next door to him they would make a great team.

Absolute rip off gave me second hand parts sold as new charged me for work not complete and trav is very arrogant. VCAT needs to shut him down. Do not try him out U will regret it.

Trav and the boys have been regularly servicing my vehicles and wouldn't go anywhere else, the absolute best auto team in the West. Highly recommend.

I have been a customer of Trav's Automotive for many years and I'm very happy with his service. He is honest and trustworthy which is very important seeing that I don't know a great deal about cars. He has found serious issues with my cars that was either missed or not done properly by my last 2 mechanics from Hoppers Crossing. I now travel to Melton from Point Cook so Trav can service all 3 of my vehicles. I highly recommend Trav and his team to anyone looking for a good mechanic.

I was after a road Worthy for my car so I rang Trev and he was fine to do it over the phone, when I got there he was more interested in bagging out the business that done the original road Worthy and quiet rude just a waste of time

I needed a quick solution to what was going on and we found it quite quickly you and was able to have it rectified by the next day

My car broke down, I got turned away from a very busy mechanic, then I found Trav which luckily he was available.
Trav took minimal time to accurately diagnose the fault in my car, helped me out with the solution that you can only find when a friend is helping a friend out.
I believe Trav is a mechanic that would not upsell or increase the cost to his customers, he fixs what is required and only charge for what worth his time and skills to cover the business running cost.
I didn't​ get a chance to know him much but next time when my car broke down I'll​ be there again:) ​

Trav is amazing. There is absolutely NO-ONE else in Melton (or anywhere) that I would recommend. He is the most honest, hard-working, real-deal mechanic around. More than a mechanic! He goes above and beyond to make sure things are running properly. Cannot speak highly enough of Trav and the boys. Absolute gems.
