Wonderful trip. Only comment was some places stay was not long enough and a couple others could have spent less time at.

From the ship, the Crew, tour director, hotel manager, the ship mates, every one was fantastic, had a great time, the only downfall was the snow that nobody expected and no one can control that. So a fantastic time was had by all.

We did a tour of Vietnam, Ha Long Bay and Cambodia. Our Tour manager was fantanstic, making sure everything went smoothly and all we had to do was enjoy our holiday.

We did both the East and West Coast of Canada and Alaska. Ben, the tour guide for the West Coast of Canada and Alaska was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. Everything went seamlessly and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

We have just returned from a 14 day Calgary Stampede and Rockies Marvel Holiday. Thoroughly recommend the Calgary Stampede, it was amazing. Would recommend staying 2 full days at Banff and Whistler, one day is not enough. Accommodation was only acceptable, would not say it was 1st class. Some of the accommodation was too far from the centre of activities. Our tour guide Jaqi was very informative and we enjoyed her commentaries while travelling in the bus. Bernie our bus driver kept us safe. I must say the air conditioning on the bus was very cold. Breakfast every morning was a bonus as it kept us going for the day. We did extra activities which you had to pay for. Overall we had a wonderful holiday with a great group of people from Aussie, England and Ireland.

Unfortunately the river cruise was shortened due to flooding on the Danube otherwise i would have given the tour a 5 star rating. The location of the hotels in Paris & Prague were not in areas conducive t.o going out at night

Loved it! Memories were made, places I would love to see again! Ben Direen did a sterling job he was entertaining, rotated us, always available and making sure we were all heard and attended to It must have been a hard job for such a large group. Myself preferred a smaller group and at least 2 nights at every stop so APT suits me best. Did make friendships even outside the group. Had 3 days sick onboard cruise which was a shame. These things happen. Thank you Ben

Recently returned from the Delightful Danube tour- ship, staff and food were fabulous however it not advertised that you CANNOT open your blinds as there is always another ship up against your ship -blinds even closed in the dining room! After all, the view is what you’re paying for -extremely disappointing when you can’t see it!
In 8 days we had only one daytime sailing day and one early morning sail coming into Budapest. Extra excursions are super expensive-the Salzburg/Sound of Music tour was so ridiculous-the one thing that made our decision to book with Travelmarvel turned out to be the biggest regret!

Another wonderful Travelmarvel experience. Your staff are wonderful and make sure everyone makes the most of their holiday.
We will travel with you again soon. So far have had 3 wonderful holidays with you.
A special thank you to Jimmy and Thieme on the ship. They were fantastic to everyone.

We have just returned from a Travelmarvel tour of Canada and Alaska. Our tour guide Ira was absolutely amazing, funny, helpful and very knowledgeable. The hotels were amazing and even the fussiest of eaters couldn’t complain about the selection food. Everything ran like clockwork, all round a brilliant holiday.

Our trip with Travel Marvel to New Zealand was to use credit owing to us thru a cancelled trip to
canada/
alaska due to covid restrictions.the guide was great but some of the hotel accomodation needs to be reviewed as the mould in some bathrooms and even drinking jugs left much to be desired.
Two of our hotel rooms had cracked or broken sinks in the bathroom, guess we were unlucky to get two in one trip.

Although we notified TRAVEL MARVEL of this and even enclosed photographs, we have never heard from them as to whether this has been rectified.

We did the 15day New Zealand Getaway in February. We arrived with the warnings of Cyclone Gabrielle but did not expect not to be able to get an evening meal (or even an offer of snack food). The Bay of Islands tour was cancelled & we were stuck in Auckland for 4 nights with the majority of restaurants, cafes, shops & tourist attractions all closed. Tour guide & coach driver did their best to entertain us but a couple of city bus tours in no way compensated for missing one of the main parts of the tour.
Expect long days, arriving late, sometimes as late as 6pm as rooms were not ready at the Hotels.
Tour group was 45 which was too large & optional tours already booked out so missed out on them.
Being APT platinum members I feel the standard of hotels has declined since our previous trips. The complimentary night’s accommodation is stated as value up to $A350 but we had to pay an extra $A40 for what is an advertised cost of $289!
I have raised these issues with Travelmarvel & had an unsatisfactory response blaming the Cyclone & COVID for all the problems encountered on our tour & that no one on this tour was going to be compensated. I would have thought for an act of goodwill some form of compensation should have been offered.
I have been a loyal customer of APT but in future will be comparing other companies for future travel.

My wife and I were on a Travelmarvel tour of New Zealands north island in February 2023 when the tour was interrupted by cyclone Gabrielle. We were unable to complete the main part of the tour which as a tour of the Bay of Islands, instead we were confined to a hotel in Aukland. When I requested some kind of compensation or credit from Travelmarvel they said no as they regarded the disruption as a " force majeure "
They must be trying to bluff me with some outdated French lingo.
I will continue to attempt to get some credit and will update my post on progress.

Travel Marvel has been and still is advertising
“ Business Class (flights) from $3,995 per person” with specified tours.
I made an inquiry about travelling in September, nothing available. I said I’d travel any time the business class deal is available. I was told there is nothing available. They then tried to sell me something else.
I asked why they were advertising something for sale that they are not able to sell. I was told it says “until sold out”. Except they know they have none available. None for the whole year! ZERO. Yet they are still advertising it on their website, seemingly long after it is not available. I checked again before writing the review and it’s still being advertised.
If it’s not available it should not be advertised and should have been removed from their website. It’s not a printed brochure, it’s one line on their website that should have been deleted.
I wouldn’t bother contacting Travel Marvel for any thing they advertise in future. They simply can’t be trusted.

My husband, my girlfriend and myself decided to book a European River Cruise with Travelmarvel. The booking process was painless with Debi Galloway attending to everything and even organising an upgrade to business class with Singapore Airlines which we requested. The package was 15 days with economy airfares included. We departed Amsterdam 2nd December 2022 on the Travelmarvel Polaris. Our cabins were located on the lower deck which we thought would be dark and dingy. Not so, we were very comfortable and there was plenty of room. The crew were outstanding in every way! Friendly, professional and nothing was a problem. The cruise director Andrew was a wealth of knowledge with his nightly rundowns of the upcoming daily tours. The tours were very well organised with fantastic tour guides, comfortable tour buses and wonderful towns at each stop.
Erna served us drinks each evening always with a smile and chat, Min was our table waiter each night always with a smile, always going the extra yards to ensure were all happy. The food and beverage manager Goran was also a treasure! The Captain did a great job sailing through the evenings to get us safely to our destinations. Fun entertainment each night in the lounge! I highly recommend Travelmarvel. We will definitely be taking another cruise with them.

We really looked forward to going on this European family Christmas cruise but Travel Marvel cancelled on us with little explanation.
And it should not have been Covid as we did a Bordeaux river cruise with Scenic in September 22 without incident.

Not happy! And can't think why we would chance Travel Marvel/APT in the future

Nothing to share. Trip didn't happen. No refund only credit unless we want to lose $3000 from Sept 2019.
