I had been thinking to buy myself an office-looking sling bag and I went to travellershop melbourne cbd. The location of the shop is pretty central and easy to access (walking distance from Flinders St.). The store assistant recommended me a Tosca brown leather-looking sling bag which was surprisingly affordable for a given size and look. On top of a laptop, I could also stuff my gym clothings and jumper in, and it has heaps of small compartments where you can stick your pen and phone in. Definitely a shop I'll come back to to purchase bags and Aussie souvenir. 5/5

Worst customer service. Staff following us around like we were going to steal. I actually regret purchasing items from this store now. Not everyone are criminals!

I had been searching for a particular carry on suitcase and found it at this store. I rang this shop on a Sunday & was told there was only one left so asked if I could put on hold until I could collect the next day. I explained I may not be able to get to the city on the Sunday but would call the next day and either buy click and collect or have it delivered. As I work in the city I was trying to save THEIR company by collecting so they didn’t have to pay for delivery. I was assured this was no issue and they would put it aside. I was extremely happy. I rang the next day and was told that someone brought it online so it was no longer available. I was livid! What a fool I was to try and save them money by not choosing delivery. I explained that I was assured by the sales assistant that the suitcase was on hold and if I had been told that someone could buy online, basically negating my hold, I would have purchased then. All I got from them was … I’m sorry but there’s nothing we can do. The item is sold out in Australia and it may be discontinued so I cannot complete my set which was extremely upsetting. If a company give their word and then sell to someone else right under your nose, how can you trust that company when buying anything else. They acted unethically and I had to ring their store three times and each time was given a different version. If you can buy somewhere else, I recommend you do as their word is worthless, therefore making their business principles less than acceptable.

An exceptional shop and truly helpful and friendly staff! We were able to get everything we needed for our trip. Excellent quality luggage, souvenirs and more. I can highly recommend this place for all your travel needs.

We unknowingly bought Chinese manufactured UGG Boots, I came to the store for a refund. Unfortunately store policy strictly states no returns which is suspicious. I went to one of the staff and asked about it and despite agreeing with us he couldn’t help due to store policy. We had to wait for the manager, who seemed reasonable. After stating my reasons the manager showed obscure tags stating ‘MADE IN CHINA’ in spots I literally could not find, and said a bunch of unrelated stuff about consumer laws. I began to further state the stores history regarding not stating Chinese manufactured boots in which he began to defend, then began to cut me off countless times and became super unprofessional. It was kind of obvious the manager came into negotiation knowing that he wouldn’t offer a refund. After a bit of arguing I decided not to pursue it any further cause it seemed like he wasn’t sympathising and continuously misinterpreting what we said and being offended. I also felt like I was being undermined because of my age. Disappointed.

Such excellent customer service from The Travellor Shop Melbourne. I ordered suitcases on two occasions. Both times the items were delivered from the shop directly to my door within a couple of days. Nice place to buy travel related stuff like bags, rucksacks, trolley etc. They have wide range of souvenirs as well which can be taken if you’re travelling outside Melbourne. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This shop is one of the better places to get your Melbourne-themed swag. They have a huge range of postcards to nail of to your friends, along with plenty of souvenirs. They also have a large range of luggage and travel accessories. Located reasonably close to public transport.

Not a helpful store at all. Had a Samsonite with international warranty but they didn't bother to help me with a loose screw. Only if I had bought from them - not quite the service attitude you deserve and expect from a retail seller of international brands.

Needed to get a new luggage bag for the mother, staff helped me out and were real friendly. Overall postive experience.

I wouldn't shop here again. Unhelpful staff and wouldn't even offer a 5% discount when I was prepared to spend $700. Found same item $139 cheaper online with free delivery.
