11Could be a good place for families. Need more trees and water points on Eastern side of oval. Grounds keeper (or someone with apparent authority) telling kids not to play on the oval when sprinklers were on. It was 34 degrees so how about he takes a hike and leave them alone
CFA and other community groups demonstrating the best aspect of our culture. The flood damage is extensive and much cannot be saved. It feels great to get stuck into the mess with old friends and make new ones. Sad to see all the efforts of the showground user groups destroyed, but they are already planning to rebuild. Very inspiring.
Ground is A1 surface. But as a spectator grandstand is not good. Comparing to sale. Morwell ect when u r above ground higher up better view u can see whole ground. Just thought it was very average and heard from other spectators the same.
Great place to watch a fire brigade competition on the 1st Saturday in February and the 1st Saturday in March every year. February you get to watch the junior competition and March the Seniors competion
Free to watch. Kiosk available selling food run by the Traralgon ladies firebrigade Auxiliary
Beautifully maintained pavillion! Felt very welcomed & comfortable for our event, especially driving HOURS to get there
Put on a great Bonfire night each year and Traralgon Show. Tolets for all and baby change rooms onsite.
This is my spriatial sporting home I've been going to this Place since I was a very young lad Sixty Years.i have a lot of fond memories of this Place. There is one other sports ground that also has many fond memory's and That is The Original Home and Spiritual Home of TheCollingwood Football Club Victoria Park in Collingwood it also holds a place in my heart
Busy and big. Watched my grandson play football. Had a kiosk for coffee and food. A bar that wasn't open. But maybe on Saturday night. Long drive from Pakenham.
Went to the car show. Definitely recommend it if you like cars. Heaps to see. Plenty of food available.
Valley Smash cricket. A warm up to the Big Bssh. 2017 version Stsrs vs Hurricanes.
Ground was in great condition. Trams batting second - undrr lights- would serm to be at a significant disadvantage.
