This restaurant, despite us booking online IS CLOSED, we arrived to find a sign on the door that was written two months ago! Why are they still taking bookings? Very annoying.

Great food, excellent service and friendly. George is a extremely professional host.
Will go again in the near future.

Not an honest restaurant! Booked for 50% discount on foods, after dining, they refused to honour the offer! Horrible place, AVOID!

We booked dinner with the Fork Festival promotion, which gives you 50% off on all food, except set menus. It's a great way to try some new places without breaking the bank. When we received the bill (and only then) it was mentioned that the 50% discount only applies to main dishes. This is utter nonsense and in clear contradiction with the terms & conditions of the promotion. It's really annoying when a restaurant tries to scam you into visiting them with a promotion and then don't follow through. Also, it is incredibly stupid because all you do is create negative experiences with no returning customers. Exactly the opposite of the intention of the promotion. It's dumb, shortsighted and most of all dishonest. I completely get it if restaurants don't want to sacrifice 50% of the food bill, but then simply don't join these promotions. You can't have it both ways.
Luckily the food was quite alright, but left with a bad taste in my mouth, even when they ultimately deducted the 50% on all food, after quite a bit of arguing.

Not only was the food delish - we got the second banquet at a very reasonable price with plenty of food but the service was 10/10. The gentleman that served us was fantastic! Attentive and very helpful. Couldn’t be happier and will be returning

This is by far one of the bestest place or restaurants i would say with the bestest of Greek foods and staff so friendly and very well mannered staff for sure without doubt and cleanest place too to come to in Melbourne Fairfield area. I wouldn't recommend any other Greek place before this resturant that's without doubt and not just saying that either it's got the greatest of greatest chefs and the food is to die for it always leaves me wanting to continue to eat more even thou my stomach may be telling me enough is enough no more room in it to eat more but my taste buds would be telling me eat more eat more it's the yummest food one would eat and cleanest place too. I recommend this place for all ages of people to even children.they cater for all ages and all functions too guranteed. You will be walking out of the restaurant saying this is one place I shall be back to visit and eat at that's fully a guranteed.without a doubt. It's also ideal if just wanting somewhere to have a quite coffee or happy environment to enjoy a good glass of wine or soft drinks even to even whiskey spirits or even cocktails too as u will enjoy regardless guranteed. This place is not to be forgotten once gone there that's for sure and not for any other reasons other then it's a great place to take Ur Mr or Mrs or family or even friends too for all occasions as I said they cater for all types of functions or occasions. Five star rating this place for everything gets from me that's for sure. Enjoy such great staff and owner as well as great food it's one place that has all ticks off my list ticked with a doubled ticks not just one tick that's for sure which indicates greatness of the venue if not ticked and crossed then one is to worry but that's not at all close to even the thought of when thought of this restaurant and that's without say so too I'm sure if anyone or everyone is to visit this restaurant u will be guaranteed to be going home or walking out with a smile and a half of enjoyment of great staff service, cleanness of venue being the restaurant and greatest food as I said one place guranteed to put a smile and a half on ur face and that's a full guarantee from myself that is fully yeah ciao.

My husband & I had dined here a few years ago & remember having a pleasant experience with good Greek food. Remembered this place previously having a good vibe. We tried this restaurant yesterday & OMG the food was absolutely disgusting. Slops served on a plate & most dishes were served on a bed of rotten cubed tomatoes. One star rating is being kind. Dishes were over priced for what was served on plate. Lamb skewers 3 mini skewers with 3 pieces of meat served again on rotten bed of tomatoes $18? Chicken skewers the same again served on a rotten bed of tomatoes. Tomatoes were water logged, pressing down on them with a fork they clearly were for the bin, should never have been served to any customer. We realised New Management signage, funny that! For a Sat night not busy. 2 young inexperienced waiting staff, the owner & most probably his parents cooking & struggling with orders in the kitchen? Stuffed mushrooms came out in a pool of watery liquid, with a mountain of watery tasteless spinach WTH? Disgusting. Fish dish, again served on the same rotten cubed tomatoes. We will never dine here again, absolute waste of money. $150 would have been better spent at Spitaki down the road, much better food for a third of the price & no rotten tomatoes & slops served to any customer!

We ordered the $55 banquet per head for my son's bday on the weekend catering for 23 people in the home. The food was amazing and free delivery at the specified time with everything labelled and sorted magnificently. The food was still hot and the quality of the platters and the rest were just superb. Everyone loved it and there was food leftover for people to take home a plate as you do with a big fat greek family Highly recommend trapezi for your next outing or catering needs. Very disappointed our order was cancelled an hour after ordering it. DoorDash updated the order as being picked up just before trapezi cancelled the ordered jow does that happen and now wont get a refund for 5-7days. So still hungry but no money. Poor service through Door Dash

The mezza were beautiful- visually appealing, fresh and delicious. Lovely fresh bread, as well as salad. The moussaka was stale mush. The seafood stew was very tired and tasteless.
Moral: go with the mezze and salads.

Yum! Second time we’ve ordered from here and still great. Fresh, tasty food and friendly staff. The pita is soft and plump. Their chicken and lamb are cooked to perfection and never chewy or dry. The tarama is. But the best bit is that all three of my children will eat it and enjoy it! Order - you won’t be disappointed!

It was my first time ording from Trapezi and it was deliciously yum. Definitely I will be a regular customer.

The food here is consistently flavoursome! The lamb was freaking tasty then the squid and octopus.yep yep yep taste buds happy again!
The banquet options are such good value but either way in this extensive menu you can't really lose! Go here.eat a plenty.waddle home.smile.this food coma is one of the joys left in life.of not eat til you're conservatively full and also wander home with a smile on your face. The staff are helpful and attentive. The kitchen know their stuff and obviously take pride. This place brought me joy!

We tried Trapezi for the first time last night and found the food very flavoursome and nicely presented, and the statf member friendly, helpful and patient (even though we were the last to leave). Will happily return in the future.

Just wanted to say thank you very much to Lucky and his beautiful wife for the delicious banquet they organised for my grandson's christening celebration. They went above and beyond. The food was excellent, the presentation was beautiful and the cocktails were yummy. The whole family enjoyed it tremendously. I highly recommend Trapezi restaurant and will definitely be returning on my next visit to Melbourne.

Heard very good things about this restaurant. Unfornately our experience was not great at all. We ordered the banquet 1 and the meat was terrible no taste very bland like it was overcooked meat. The potatoes were just boiled with abit of garnish on top also had no taste to them. Also extremely hot in there to the point where even if the food was good we still would of left as we were sweating. Overall will not go back there.

After submitting a lengthy complaint to this restaurant's contact page and then a second message and having zero response, I feel the need to leave this feedback. After many months of lockdown, we decided to go out with our family for dinner. We have been to this restaurant many times when under the previous owners and always enjoyed it. This is the first time with the new owners. We were the first customers to arrive at 6.00pm on a Saturday night. We were seated in the front of the restaurant a few feet from the bar where staff were able to see us clearly. We ordered dips and saganaki. After 10 minutes, these were finished and we sat for one hour and 10 mins whilst every other table and Ubereats was served whilst we waited. The staff walked past us multiple times and were completely oblivious to the fact that we were sitting waiting for our mains for such a long time. Finally, when they arrived, I said to the waitress that it was a very long wait. She told me it was because we needed to tell her we wanted our mains. We were clearly waiting for food, clearly finished our dips and they had zero interest. It is up to the staff to clear our table and ask if we are ready for the next course. In a Greek restaurant, the food can come out as soon as ready as it's usually all shared plates. This is not an al a carte restaurant with 3 courses to all be eaten individually and wait times in between.
The food was extremely bland and underwhelming. I would go as far as saying the worst greek food we've eaten. Everything lacked salt. I ordered chips with feta (as clearly stated on their menu). They came without feta or salt. When I questioned the feta, the waitress said they do not make them that way! It's on their menu that they do! The meat was tasteless and bland. The calamari was bland, lacked salt and the aioli was absolutely horrible and tasted like nail polish!
When going to a greek restaurant, you expect to share food, have it come out in a reasonable time, and be full of flavour. I thought by sending feedback personally to the owners of this restaurant on their contact page I would have received a response. Seeing they are not interested, then I am not interested in recommending them or ever spending my hard-earned money to eat there again. I am all for praise and compliments when deserved, and I will support the hospitality industry any way I can especially after Covid, hence the reason I wrote to the restaurant directly. Seeing they don't care about their customers then I don't care to waste my money there again.
