Transport Hotel

Outstanding location makes Transport a great spot for libations or lamentations after the footy. You might think it would be touristy but we've found it good for locals - prices are reasonable and food is good. Wings a highlight.

We had a great time. The service was outstanding. Bibi was amazing making us some of the best bloody Mary’s we’ve ever tasted.

This place used to be really good but food and service hav gone downhill recently. Pub grub food average, good chips though

I need to update the review based on the outstanding customer service my wife just received. After an ordeal, all we wanted was a phone call or easy reply to “that sounds like we can do a couple of things better” but they went above and beyond. Empathy and service goes a long way and it’s because of the outstanding service, these guys deserve a 5+ star review. Hats off to an old school approach to service team transport

Generous sized servings of delicious food at a reasonable price. A non-adventurous menu but one that allows for speedy service and satisfies all tastebuds. Fast and friendly service. Transport was perfect for our pre-theatre meal. Thanks for having us.

Busy busy busy. Anzac Day pre football. Waited for over 20 minutes to get a beer at the bar even though I was front and centre. Staff were picking and choosing who to serve.

Had a really great band on tonight some blues rock trio, they have 1 got really good beer too pretty good food, overall it's a really good experience if they got a good band on

Ordered a grilled wagyu burger when I visited tonight. It was quite underwhelming as the bun was the cheap type you get from the supermarket so it got soggy very quickly and started falling apart. The "wagyu" patty was fairly bland too. The only thing I liked was the chips, but you can't really stuff that up. Overall, not exactly a good experience.probably won't return in the future.

Went on a Friday night, music was pretty average, left after 10 mins. This place used to have good vibes, pack of stunned mullets lol

A great pub right in the mix of things. This place gets hammered at times but the staff seem to be always up for the task. It is usually busy the times I go before or after a sport event and I have never been let down by the Transport Bar. I would recommend making a booking.

First time visiting this bar as a pre MCG football meeting place and the experience exceeded expectations. Booked for nine people and 1 guide dog, food was excellent and all in the group were satisfied.

Great to get out and watch the footy on the big screens with the glow of the lights of the G in the background. Food great as ever. New IPA delicious and very very socially distant. That's the only slight downside in that the atmosphere is not the same with the limits of people. Staff numbers great and all helpful.

Lovely stuff and amazing pastrami sandwich. The place has a good vibe even in these times and makes it feel almost normal again.

Gorgeous place. Mum and I had a drink at the rooftop bar, drinks took a while and I was a little let down by the mojito, but the blood and sand cocktail was good. Snazzy vibe with the live piano set on a Thursday
