Covid-19 silver lining is that my daughter in Dunedin NZ is able to access Transit’s Origins Contemporary class on line each Friday evening. She is learning a huge amount and enjoying dancing with a different group of students. First class innovative teaching - thanks Transit

The Transit team have in the current challenging times given our dancers the opportunity to continue dancing. The move to online classes was seamless and the team are positive, encouraging and passionate in their delivery. I have been studying online with Transit Dance this year - or at least trying to. Online students are clearly not a priority to Transit Dance. I have been given little to no assistance or learning resources. In general I have only completed the assignments by conducting my own research as no lectures or learning resources were provided. Videos provided to students were of poor quality and often malfunctioned. I have been a dance teacher for the past 10 years, and wanted to do this course just as an extra learning experience and possibly a pathway to a diploma of dance - this course is much better suited for high school students. Some of the assignments literally only required me to copy and paste a document into another word document, or into a power point - assignments like that are not worth the $3000 I paid! I literally learned nothing over the past year. What a disappointment!

Typical of transit dance to try and place the blame back on the student for things not going right. I have the best internet money can buy - it is not my fault if transit dance uploads a video that does not finish explaining an assignment and cuts out mid sentence!

Yes the assessors are an email away but they take their time to respond and are not very helpful.

I am still waiting for assignments to be marked from last year! Feedback is given months after assignments are submitted.

As someone who has completed multiple courses online this particular course is not delivered at a high standard and is not worth the money. I was offered a refund early into the course after an initial complaint. I requested more attentiveness from the assessors and said I wanted to continue. A few months later I complained again after nothing had improved and asked for the refund offer to be honored and was told NO!
