Trammo Fish & Chips

Yo always get fish, diff types each time & potatoes cakes. Potatoe cakes home made & not frozen pre- baught ones. Fish delicious from gummy to barramundi. Potatoe cakes delicious & staff friendly & quick service.
My fav fish n chip shop now, Hell Yeah (Only reason atmosphere is 3 as a take away shop & not dine in lol So cause of that I should have given a 5)

Great food, always crispy and good golden colour. Burgers great too. Nice and pleasant people/staff.

This may be odd, but I come here for the Fried Chicken spare ribs. They are Amazing period. If you like fried chicken, and you're in the area drop whatever you're doing now and try this lil gem!

Fried Fish are good too, I'd say skip the chips and go for their Potato cake (heaps better than regular ol chips)

I keep forgetting to take pictures since I get too excited for the chicken.my regular order would be:
1x fried chicken spare ribs
2x Potato cake
3x Fried Junior Flake
+ 1 extra sauce Depending on the mood

Very disappointed with the food here. Chips looked like they were 2 days old, so soggy, not a single crispy chip. Calamari rings had no calamari inside, it was only batter. Fish needed way more salt, and while we asked for 4 flakes, we got 3 flakes and another different type of fish that we didn't ask for. The only good thing we ordered here was the burger. Everything else was a miss.

I’ve been going here for decades & it’s ALWAYS been a wonderful experience. The staff are friendly, the food is cooked beautifully and these are the potato cakes I measure ALL others against! I am very fussy with potato cakes & just don’t get them most places as they always let me down but here they are like disks of magic! They are always perfectly cooked, crunchy coating & beautifully and always perfectly cooked through potato inside! No one else cooks them like this. THANK YOU, you are amazing and you bring me joy

Fish bites were quite small had bigger elsewhere but were nice nonetheless would go again if in area. Worth a visit

A local favourite; staff are friendly and the service is quick and efficient. The food quality has been consistently good based on my experience, so I've become a regular.

The fish was really dry potato cakes and calamari rings cold and not enough salt and they didn't even include a lemon to squeezegot a share share pack all for around $30 first time eating out in a while and i remember why i eat home food, cheaper and alot better then this.

Just for record i have eaten here once or twice before maybe few years back can't exactly remember and it was good either owners changed or something else has gone wrong!

Definitely the place to go on a budget, great service and surely good enough food! Support locals!

Trammo fish and chip is the best in Mordalloc, great food, friendly service, beautiful burgers and souvlaki. Definitely recommend people for trying out if you want quality and cheap food. Trammo fish and chip, they also made deep friep mars bars or snickers bar.

This is our local. Always great chips and burgers. My favourite is the veggie burger. Always consistent flavour and great ingredients.

This place is an amazing after school snack for both Mordialloc College and Parkdale Primary, they have very delicious chips that can brighten any bad day!

Great fish. & excellent chips. Used to frequent across the road, no more, they've won my custom.

Ordered a piece of barramundi and got a flake. When I called back they completely denied it.the fish have completely different flavour and texture profiles. Come on who are you kidding?
I look to support local shops but It is extremely disappointing to be lied to.
Chips are however cooked to perfection! Not too oily not to dry

Excellent service all the time, the owners and staff are always very friendly, to back up what i have written, I asked the owners if I could bring in a gluten-free burger bun (due to my Girlfriend is gluten-free) and swap it for the normal bun, they were very happy to swap the buns over. We have been have been going to Trammo Fish & Chips shop since i moved to Mordialloc 2 years ago. Grate range of different types of food, from Oz burger or cheese & bacon potato cake to mars bar or boost bar fritters. They have alot of special packs to choose from that are very cheap an filling. They cook with 100% vegetable oil and is always clean, the food is always of very high quality, always comes out very tasty and golden. If you havnt tried them, do yourself a favor and get down there and treat yourself.
